am I the only X JAPAN fan here?

This is my favourite band, I just love all their songs, my japanese ins´t very good but they have almost all their songs translated to english on the internet, and the have some songs in english too.

My favourite song is masterpiece of 35 minutes ( I even cried the first time I listened to this song):

X Japan is a japanese band founded in 1982 by Toshimitsu "Toshi Deyama and Yoshiki Hayashi. Originally named X (エックス), the group achieved its breakthrough success in 1989 with the release of their second album Blue Blood. They started out as a power/speed metal band and later gravitated towards a progressive sound, at all times retaining an emphasis on ballads. After three more albums, X Japan disbanded in 1997.

Besides being one of the first Japanese acts to achieve mainstream success while on an independent label^, the group is widely credited for pioneering the visual kei movement, though most of the group's members toned down their on-stage attire in later years.As of 2007, the band has sold over twenty million records and over two million home videos.

On 4 June 2007 it was announced the band would reunite with a new song released via digital download and live performances scheduled for March and May. in January 2008.

I was totally into them in my rocker phase way back when. Every single one of them rocks. Yoshiki Hayashi is unreal. And so was Hide.

Yes, Yoshiki is just... well he is a really really talented musician, and Hide was the best, ( I think I have a crush on him) but his story is really sad... I´ve read that some fans tried to kill themselves after he did...

X is good...

tsss, ok ok, I haven´t hear Luna sea yet, althought Last fm recomend them to me every time I enter in the web.

Give me a few days to listen to them so I can give you my opinion.

Ryuichi?? well he is ok, but I still like Hide more ^_^ ( WTF I think I might be bi too)

I absolutely adore X JAPAN! I was so disappointed when their New York concert got postponed, but hopefully it will be rescheduled for sometime this year. I don't know how, but I WILL be there. It's my dream to see them play live. And for the Luna Sea fans, I think SUGIZO might be filling in for HIDE's place on their world tour (at least that's what is suggested by his myspace blog posts) which would be amazing.

Art of Life is my all-time favourite song, I don't think there could be one more perfect. It has quite possibly changed my life.

Toshi's voice is incredible, Yoshiki is a musical genius... I love this band!

oooh, sorry for replying this post so late I thought nobody else knex X Japan.

I was planing to go to their Concert in Paris, I´m dying to see them live, but I have no money right now tsss, I must save some, I don´t want to miss their concert.

Art of life is my all-time favourte song too, even the piano solo express so many emotions, I really feel identifiied with this song.

Have they rescheduled the paris date yet? I'm in the same situation with the new york concert-- I'm dying to go, but I have no idea how to save the money lol.

I completely agree with you about the piano solo in Art of Life. It's incredible!!! So emotional!

I´m really glad to see there are fans of XJapan here, they´re really good, I love their music.

I don´t know the date of the paris concert yet, at least I know they´re going to do it but... ufff I wish I had money to go. Last monday I went out with some friends, and I met a guy with an X Japan patch, he told me that he went to tokio twice to see them in concert (I don´t know if this is true, I was just too happy to found another Xjapan fan, we aren´t too many) but he told me they are awsome in conert, and he wanted to go to paris to see them too.
