Thanks for the video link, hadn't seen that yet, although I did see the pics on the hollyoaks website.

I suggested in a survey of Hollyoaks that I did some months back that they have had no lesbian or female bi-sexual character on the show since Gina Patrick over 5/6 years ago and it was about time they did, so even though I think this is going to be 'they are both drunk and regret in the morning' storyline, I am glad they putting it into the show.

Late night episodes look good otherwise, glad they are doing a whol week this time and not just a one off.

The Hollyoaks girls are generally a crazy lot, and while some of them are pretty decent, I really dislike Sarah. Even Mercedes ranks higher on my list. Then again, I stopped following Hollyoaks after they killed Kieron, John Paul and Craig left, and Niall went off in his ambulance. The plots have gotten too soap-opera-y for me now. Also, I just wish they'd do more with Kris - they've got an absolutely magnificent character that they refuse to give decent (and romantic!) plots to.

I'm annoyed that they feel a gay male storyline is appropriate for the normal 6.30 slot, but a lesbian one has to be introduced via the late-night version. Hmph.

Despite this I'm still quite excited about it. Sarah is fit :D If only it could have been with Louise though, Zoe is the least-good looking Hollyoaks bird. Except maybe Jackie.

omgsh! i only watched Hollyoaks cus a) the john paul storyline and b) it was right before Uni so the whole student storyline (Zoe + her bf) it was focusing on was exciting :) and she was cute!! (i so never usually use that word.. hmm) and the other girl i liked was Sarah, she's more my type lookwise, dark brown hair and eyes, Zoe's blonde but unusually i liked her

personality wise i think i preefer Zoe, i duno.. don't reember liking Sarah v.much, perhaps whiny as someone said.. I duno, tbh I didnt even know her name nd iforgot Zoe's, thought you were talking about some new charac i didn't know, didn't twig for a while

Did anyone watch the first "Later" Episode tonight? Was pretty good. I wasnt sure if I would enjoy every storyline, the Josh one got a bit boring, but all in all it was really good.

 

I definitely liked the Zoe/Sarah/Nancy roadtrip stuff, very very funny, Nancy was on form!! And Sarah and Zoe's fight was believable. Now they just have to make up :)

I think it's on E4 at 10pm but I watched it yesterday on E4 at midnight so maybe it gets repeated then.

I never watch Hollyoaks but I thought I'd check it out just because of the Sarah/Zoe storyline and I actually thought that it was quite funny especially the 3 girls together and when they crashed their car into a tree XD

I'll def be watching it tonight for the kiss.

Enjoying the Later stuff so far. It's already been mentioned, but I am a little bit gutted that the lesbian storyline got pushed to the later slot while they'll show everything else in the earlier shows. But hey ho..

watched the first two eps via youtube looks like the kissing stuff happens on thursday night by the look of the previews.

Well, that was a big fuss over nothing. Basically all you saw in the preview was all you saw in the actual show. They were drunk, Sarah essentially just pecked Zoe on the lips, then apologized, but Zoe said she liked it, and then we saw the short kiss from the preview. They cut aay really quickly.

I hope this is ongoing, or what was the point of all the hype? It wasn't even a decent 'sweeps' style lesbian kiss.

It was a bit crap! Bit typical that they showed a heterosexual couple having quite graphic sex in the toilets, then with this they cut away as soon as something happens.

Yeah the kiss was kinda lame! I was hoping for a bit more to happen hehe. I agree about the fact that we have to watch a heterosexual couple having sex in a toilet but we can't see more than 2 secs of girls kissing?! What's up with that!

There was a bit more kissing 2nite and naked shoulder action lol. Then the obvious total freak out or pass of as drunken mistake.

The total freak hangover was expected... but next Tuesday, as you can see on the Hollyoaks website, Zoe will leave for a while because she can't stand Sarah's behaviour any longer (Zoe seems cool about the whole situation and Sarah is a mess). When Zoe leaves, Sarah starts crying.

I liked the neck kissage on the last episode, wasn't much but at least it was something lol. Then Sarah had a love bite, that's even better haha.

 I don't want Zoe to leave I want her to stay and work things out and not just ignore what happened but if Sarah gets too clingy then I don't really blame her.

Well, Friday's Later episode was a bit more like it. It does appear that the storyline will be continuing in the regular episodes. To what degree, I don't know, but I've heard a few spoiler tidbits, and in today's E4 episode (which in case anyone doesn't know, is one day ahead of C4 so *SPOILERS*) Zoe moved out of the house she shares with Sarah and her father (temporarily) to make things easier on Sarah, because she wasn't coping at all. I thought it was quite sweet in a way. Still, neither of them has expressed anything beyond regret about it, Sarah's freaking out of why it happened, and is obviously the more conflicted of the pair, and Zoe seems rather unfazed, apart from some concern over losing her friend over it.

You still have my attention for the time being, Hollyoaks.

Girls, as you may know, after tonight's episode, we will probably only hear from Sarah next Wednesday, meaning the 10th... and look at what I just read on the Hollyoaks website about that far far away episode:

Hannah and Sarah are having an afternoon hanging out in the SU Bar discussing boys. Elliot is the hot topic but Hannah clearly had a great time with Matt in Paris, in spite of her protestations. When they are joined by Archie and Elliot, Archie makes no bones of the fact that he fancies Sarah and it would seem that the feeling's mutual. In stark contrast to Elliot and Hannah, whose relationship is becoming increasingly frosty, Archie and Sarah are getting on famously.

Please, someone who always watches Hollyoaks can introduce me to this Archie??? Are they really going to get into there?

Well Sarah goes to the SU bar with Hannah to flirt with guys in order to prove to herself she is not gay, so she kisses Archie and Zoe witnesses it. The twist is that Archie is infact Zoe's brother.

Although im not sure if they continue the affair i know it says (according to spoilers) that Sarah tells her dad (mike/ Zoe's boyfriend) about the one night stand sometime in Jan

 And even though i kind of had hopes the affair would continue - 1) because if sarah was gonna hook up with anyone she could do why be Zoe's brother? 2) Zoe tells Sarah to back off him = Jelous maybe? But then again I think the tvguide would say 'sarah tells mike about their affair' not 'one night stand' , ohwell will have to see how it plays out i know Zoe doesn't return to hollyoaks until the 17th so its a lonng wait

What can we expect from the first part of 2009?

December 17th episode was pretty hilarious and annoying at the same time,

After reading Zoe Listers recent interview, I don't think they will get together. I think Zoe will go straight back to men and Sarah will be confused and maybe have a quick thing with another women-decide she's straight and go back to men too.

UK soaps don't like telling women/women romances in a good light for some reason, most of the time the girls are bisexual (which is fine as so am I) or 'confused' and they just use that as excuses to have some experimentation, and then have them go back to men. Where is our gay love story? like Craig and JP got in HO, or Paul and Jonny in Emmerdale.

All we get (when they even bother to have gay/bi girls at all, which is very rarely) are the ones that end after a one night stand, they die or go back to men. I'm tired of being ignored on UK soaps and only brought out when they want a rating stunt, and then it's back to hetro land for the characters. I'm betting this is what HO will do, they love the gay/bi guys and give them decent romances, but use the girls as nothing but ratings stunts.

I don't think they're going to become a couple. (as much as I'd like them to be)

I think there's just going to be fights and arguments for the next week or so.

I was sure when they both admitted they liked it they would lead to a kiss.

It's a tough situation for the both of them, I would like them to get together, I would have liked it even more if they'd kissed or something behind Mikes back tho, before it all came out. Would have made an interesting storyline. But then again I suppose that would reinforce the belief that something like that should be kept secret etc.

 

 

Can someone sum up all the ups and (mostly) downs in their relationship for me? The Wikipedia article is confusing and they pop up on Hollyoaks (and Hollyoaks: Later?) sporadically and out of sync on what I think the timeline should be :(

Zoe and Sarah were v good mates, Zoe then began dating Sarah's dad (yeah WTF)

The main point of this storyline occured on the Hollyoaks later special. Episode 4 to be precise. They got drunk, Sarah was feeling sorry for herself. They were both lying on the bed and she lent over and kissed Zoe. She then apologised and said she'd had too much Vodders. Zoe then said it was okay and they kissed again, then scenes were shown of them getting much closer.

It was regretted when they woke up the morning after, then the rest of Hollyoaks later and the following Hollyoaks episodes showed them being quite repelled from each other and not getting along at all. There was some hoo ha about Sarah snogging a bloke in the SU bar which then turned out to be Zoe's brother! And various disagreements between the two of them. It came to a head when Sarah demanded Zoe break up with her dad because it was tainted etc. Instead Zoe ended up planning a trip around Europe with him o.O

It all went Pete Tong at the silent rave at the SU, when during a crying heart to heart in the toilet, they were overheard talking about the night they spent together by the flamboyant gay(bi?) guy, whos name escapes me. He then proceeded to loudly mention it to his friend in ear shot of Mike, Sarah's Dad. (Nice)

Now he's kicked them both out and its all a bit in shambles.

I've heard spoilers that Zoe and Sarah sleep together again.

They better do something more with this storyline other than doing the drunk one night stand thing, but with both of them admitting they liked being together and all those signs of jealousy, I wouldn't be surprised if they did sleep together again.

Completely random but I think that Sarah's gonna get with that lesbian that came to the dog when it was a gay bar...the one that fancied hannah? Could happen.
