President Elect Obama - I thank you for the spirit and hope and optimism you've returned to this country, even before you've taken office. The past 8 yrs have been some seriously dark times for most of us - thank you for destroying Mordor. But that's only the first step.
I beg you, please order investigations into the activities of the Bush Administration. We need bipartisanship and goodwill, but we also needs answers and accountability. If there were indeed crimes committed by Sauron.... I mean, Cheney & Bush, they need to be held accountable. And Republicans always talk about the need for "personal responsibility," so they should be supportive of your efforts in this area.
I'd also ask you to reconsider your last vote on FISA. Indeed, revisit the entire issue of wireless wiretapping.
