Heroes

So, am I the only person who loves heroes. I know there has got to be at least one more person here who does.

me and my roommate watch it every monday and record it then watch it again durning the week... 

was anyone else left really confused by this epsiode??

Trust me, you are not alone in your confusion. I think that every single character on the show has now jumped the shark and we are in the downward spiral of trying to make up for wrongs done in the future. Does that sound confusing in and of itself? Well, kill future Peter and it'll all make sense and be ok. If we learned nothing from the Star Trek franchaise propensity to utilize time travel, then fine. But the thing is, you can't have a relevant present when you've got a revolving door future. It's all physics and shit, with quantum sprinkles and Mohinder morphing into an insect as added distraction. I've actually gotten very angry at this show. I used to love it but now I want everyone to go away, especially the writers and producers.

Season one rocked my world but honestly, since then I have been just hanging in there by sheer will power. It reminds me of Lost in that sense. I refuse to give up but I haven't been obsessed by it in a looong time.  I can see the same thing happening with the Fringe. Right now i think it's fascinating, but as it delves deper and deeper into it's own mythology I will lose interest.

I know what you're saying about Lost, but dear god in heaven, may that not happen to Fringe! I adore Fringe, but yes, I live in terror that it'll become something sucky, and nonsensical. A show can suck and be forgiven, to an extent, after a good five year run, like the X-Files (and Duchovny being a sex addict just makes the show more creepy, so it's all good). But Lost lost me after the first season! And Heroes is throwing the viewer away because they can't be bothered to build an actual mythology. Lost created too much, and Heroes is time jumping to create, I don't know, junk.

I loved the first season, but then the second season had too many storylines, not enough time spent on each one. I reckon that they should not have added all the extra characters, maybe just a phew. But the first season was totally awesome. I reckon though, that if i watched like a marathon of all the episodes, that I would be more into it hehe.

So, the first season was definitely the best, 2 was not so good because of the strike but i still have a lot of hope for this season.

As for the story line, killing furture peter wont do anything, the haitian has to erase present peters memory, the whole going into the future part and theyll be fine. Damn Hiro looks like he is gonna mess everything up, dont get me wrong he and ando are by far my favorite but Hiro treating Ando like crap and releasing the formula messed up everything!

Oh, 1 last point, why would they hype up daddy patrelli and then show him for like 5 seconds, it didnt really mean anything to me.

PS they play them on G4 on tuesdays if you dont want to keep taping it.

I love me some heroes... yea it is a show for those who dont have mush for brians. I think the writers strike hurt this show badly. But the season is based on how heroes have a villianious side to them "A dark Side" so this season seems to be showing how they progress from finding, using there power (season 1 & 2) to now turning the power into dark which is the future if they dont find there balance to change that choatic future. Which is what I think the future peter is trying to do (find the balance to better things or destroy the villianious heros of the future so he time travels)? But i still like the show i think it is the best show on network tv right now... But the show with Christian Slater that looks pretty interesting too. Did anyone watch the premier of My Own Worse Enemy?

Is what I watched of my own worst enemy. I gotta say I had zero interest in watching the show. I really dont get the christian slater appeal and this show seems to me to not... have potential for a long show. It would be a much better movie I think.

yea i think it would make a good movie not sure how they will keep up the storyline for the long haul but i enjoyed it.

Heroes was sooo good in the first season and in parts of the second. Now its just really inconsistnent. Unfortunately, it seems the writers just change the character's personalitys to fit whatever situation they've been put in. I only watch it now because Hayden Penettiere is really cute.

The first season was amazing but now it's gotten boring. Hopefully it'll get better soon,  because they're adding new writers. The only reason I'm watching it is because I feel like I should stick with it.

I love the claire/elle chemistry too. Two blonde girls together is never a bad thing.

The first season was amazing but since then it hasn't been as great. Too many characters, storylines and the plot is getting crazier! ^_^ But I still love it. Mondays are a really strange day to air new episodes though.

the show seriously rocks, I own almost everything of it from books, dvd to clothing.

Its a really good show season 1 was the better then season 2  I was mad because of the 9-month wait for season 3 but it was worth the wait. Its back and its better. I cant wait til monday.Yatta!

I was really really hoping they were going to go the redemption route with Elle. I do like it when the bad girls are redeemed, a la Xena, Callisto (one of my favourite TV moments when Angel Xena gives Demon Callisto her light <sigh>), even Sarah Corvus from Bionic Woman, and maybe even Six from BSG (sort of :/). Anway, it sucks the way they ended her. Makes the rest of the season less enjoyable, for me anyway. Unless, of course, we get to see her in the past again or an alt universe, cause that would be coolios :D

So hey, did anyone else catch the two Indian women who were obviously a couple?  I thought that was pretty cute.  I have a feeling they won't be regular characters though.

I watched this weeks ep, but I didn't spot a lesbian couple. Do you mean the Indian woman that Hiro and Ando stopped from marrying that jerky guy? Because I thought that she and the other woman in the cafe were sisters for some reason.
