Milledgeville

Specifically I currently reside in or around milledgeville, I'll keep specifics silent of course heh. So I am stuck either driving forever to go out or making due with the limited selection around here. But really that's ok because I'm not much of a social butterfly anyway haha.

Mall in Macon

Many a weekend I have enjoyed walking around the mall in macon. Well the open shopping area anyways. Ah the fun of college students haha.

Haha!

Yeah I think they still have maybe 4 stores left open. Once you hit all of those, you can always catch a brawling fist fight at the food court. Excitement!

Atl gay hang outs...

Everyone always says to start at My Sister's Room and then go from there.  Blake's on the Park in Midtown is another gay bar although it's mostly gay men on the weekend's they are very lesbian friendly.  They used to have nights with lots of acoustic music that had a strong lesbian presence but I don't know if they do that anymore.  There are also Traxx girl parties that they have at a couple of different clubs and hotels around the city.  It's not really my scene at all, but I know they're out there.   This isn't specifically a "gay" hang out but they play good music at Eddie's Attic.  Lots of singer/songwriter acoustic type stuff.  I'm a huge fan of this place called Bellisima in Midtown.  They host all sorts of LGBT events and their calendar constantly changes and the crowd is a bit more diverse.  I think all the places I mentioned can be found on MySpace.  I hope this helps a bit.

so you like bellisima?

I have been there once and had a  good time  but my friends dont like it b/c they said taht its too dead most of the time, is it better than it used to be? Oh, the Eyedrum is an art gallery that often has queer events, like movie nights with beer and food, or bands, and i've had many a great night there, though there isn't always somehting going on... but there are always lesbos about.  Paris is interesting, there were a lot of older women there, then they left at like 10:30, then a bunch of really young dykes came in and jumped on the bar and stuff.  Birdi's closed down. :(  And I don't know any other lesbo bars in atlanta, other than my sisters room and the ones i've mentioed.

Bellisima

I've had good nights there especially on the nights when they have the Lab Lounge that Labrys sponsors.  What I usually do with Bellisima is do a drive by.  I'll go down Amsterdam and if the line is out the door or I see a lot of people hanging out outside, I go in because when I follow that rule I find I always have a good night there.  Otherwise I just skip it.  I live in Midtown though, so doing a quick drive by isn't hard for me because it's maybe 5 minutes from my apartment.

I forgot about Paris and Eyedrum.  I think the last time I went to Paris were a few too many older women and I ended up leaving and then never went back.  Eyedrum does always have stuff going on.  Haven't been by there in awhile.
