News, Reviews & Commentary on Lesbian and Bisexual women in Entertainment and the Media

What do you believe in?

what are the things that you feel passionately about?

I believe that puppy mills are inhumane, and so are pet stores that sell animals.

I believe that global warming can cause massive devastation in the near future.

I believe that animal abusers should recieve harsher punishment if proven guilty.

These are just some things that i have an opinion on.

Apparently I'm kind of a hippie.

I believe that abortion should be kept safe, legal, and accessible.

I believe that "God" is just another word for "everything."

I believe that peace is not just an option, but a necessity.

I believe that people everywhere are essentially good, and essentially kind, and essentially want to make the world a better place, and I believe that the bad things that happen are mostly due to people getting confused about what "a better place" means.

I believe that Madonna has totally jumped the shark.

LIVE YOUR LIFE BIATCH

Global Warming is something to be concerned about, but whats the point of 'going green'? if only a few are going green, while the rest are still polluting and fucking up the planet.

We have to worry more about getting rid of the 'inhumane' treatment of people first and then we can start worryin about puppies. People first, puppies last.

On Abortion, women should be able to choose to have the baby or not.

And I believe that people should live life the way they want to live it and stop letting others dictate it for them. Its your life biatch so LIVE IT.

If you want something go get it, the world is yours if you want it, "where theres a will theres a way," SO FETCH IT BI-ITCH, and I mean that in a sincere and loving way of course :)

.

I believe in putting situations in context.

I believe that regardless of what choices others make, or whether you're one of a few, if you feel good about being green and making a difference to the lives of animals then more power to you.

I believe that there is always a choice, it is just that in some situations what choices we have are very limited.

...

I believe that you are entitle to your beliefs, even though I don't agree with them.

I believe in life and that a life however much in pain or suffering, is still a life and should be respected, and not taken by anyone. I also believe at life at conception.

I believe that global warming is real..but we can't do anything its been happening ever since the world began.

I believe in living for the day and not getting so worked up about things

What I believe

I believe in protecting our children from the monsters in this world.

I believe that abusers of children deserve the harshest penalty we can give them, and right now, they arent harsh enough.

I believe that God sent me my friends to help me through when I lost my family.

Righteousness

I believe that it's very easy to say you believe in something righteous, in order to seem like a righteous person. But righteous people (in my eyes) are the ones that not just say what they believe in, but make their actions follow suit.

But that's just what I think.

I believe that woman have

I believe that woman have the right to choose. No woman should choose to kill a baby tho. I know that there are many reasons to think about it. Like you are too young and your parents will kick you out and you'll have to quit school. Well if you are that damn young that you are living with your parents than you need to keep your snatch in your pants or own up to your responsibility. No little baby should have to die because you're an immature selfish prick.

If you are raped or something like that, than it is acceptible for you to be pregnant. No one looks down on you for that. But even though that son of a bitch is a monster and deserves to die that innocent baby doesn't. You don't have to keep it or kill it. There are plenty lesbian and gay couples that would love to adopt that baby.

No one has the right to kill the innocent.

My thoughts...

I believe in not judging anyone for the choices they have made.  We all make what we feel is the best choice for us at that time, with the information that we have.  We can never truly know how another person is feeling or thinking; everyone's situation is different.

I believe in not regretting our past choices.  The past is to learn from, not dwell on.

I believe in enjoying each day.  Now matter what happens, there is always some joy in each day.  You have to find it.

I believe that learning happens everywhere, everyday.  Never stop learning as much as you can about everything.

I believe that some things cannot be explained.  Sometimes you just have to believe in the wonder of life.

I believe we all CAN make a difference.  We each get to decide where we want to effect change, or where we are able to.  No one issue is insignificant.  No one person can do it all, but each person can do something.

I believe in believing in the best in others.

I believe in being an example to others.  Don't tell people; show them.

I believe in living the life you want to live NOW.  The future is not guaranteed.  If you want to do it, do it as soon as you can.

I believe in respecting others: their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, everything.  Do not tolerate others, ACCEPT them.

I believe chocolate is always the answer.  :)

that's certainly

that's certainly true...chocolate is always the answer

I agree with you on just

I agree with you on just about everything, but I just wanted to point out that accepting people isn't always an option for others. For instance... coworkers. What if you work with someone who's SO conservative, homophobic, uptight, nosy, harsh, and rude that you can't really stand to be around them, even though you LOVE your job? What if they're constantly trying to shove their beliefs down your throat, and just being in the same room makes you grouchy?

I'm not trying to challenge you here, because these are YOUR beliefs. I guess I'm kind of wondering what your (or anyone else's) thoughts are on a situation like this, especially if, in any other case, you believe in respecting everyone and their beliefs.

Many of my beliefs

have changed & I believe that'll continue lol

I believe there's s/thing immutable in ppl, & I believe this belief isn't a belief so much as an acknowledgement

Sometimes eating chocolate, I feel intense gratitude, to everything under the sun that makes it, so yeah, I believe chocolate's one of God's nicest gifts : )

I believe

I believe that absolutely anything that is physically doable is possible, and anybody can ascertain anything they could ever want, if a person applies themselves properly and is willing to be entirely selfish and go all the way alone with no priorities other than their own. And on that note I also believe that there is always a choice. Perhaps not a right choice, but always a choice.

I believe in heirarchy and capitalism. I don't beleive we, as a race, can ever eradicate poverty. Since the dawn of time there have always been those who go without. Everything has an opposite so in order for there to be success there has to be failure. There's no wealth without poverty.

I beleive that underneath our purpose-built civilization, and hiding behind the thankfully irrevokeable human condition that is our need for a leader and a system of power, we are all animalistic and entirely heartless.

I beleive that any prejudice based on anything other than intelligence has no grounds for reason.

I believe

I believe in do not judge a book by it's cover.  Even though, judgement will usually occurring, just try to give someone a chance. I do judge but I try to give people a chance.

I believe everyone will not be your friend.  A person may not like you for a reason even if you did nothing to them.

I believe a committed relationship (loving and intimate) is not like the fairytale stories even though it would be nice. These relationships take hard work, compromise, honesty, and communication.

I believe in miracles (even though I am not religious, I am somewhat spiritual).

I believe in destiny like when someone passes away and/or if a person does not.  An example is Travis Barker and Aaliyah.  Both seem to have had similar plane crashes, all nine people died (including Aaliyah) but the plane crash with Travis Barker, him and someone else lives, others died.   I feel Aaliyah and others probably had lived their lives; with Travis Barker and the other person maybe they still have some living to do.

I believe all people should

I believe all people should be treated equally, regardless of skin color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or citizenship status.

I believe in treating animals humanely, with kindness and respect.

I believe there's an afterlife, even though I'm not sure if I believe in a god.

I believe in leading by setting good examples.

I believe women should have the right to choose. I don't like the idea of abortion (who does?), but I believe that keeping abortion legal is the safest option.

I believe in treating children as if they're intelligent people who have their own opinions and ideas. It's amazing to me how many people view them as brainless little monsters.

I believe healthcare should be a right, not a priviledge.

I believe immigrants should be able to get to the US more easily, without having to jump through hoops and pay thousands of dollars to come here legally. And I believe that the ones who come here illegally should be granted amnesty, assuming they haven't committed any horrible crimes. It breaks my heart to see immigration busts on tv, with harmless people who only wanted a better life being handcuffed and thrown in jail.

I believe in trusting gut instincts.

Hm... this could get long. I'll stop there.

I believe...

in Jesus foremost...I was raised Catholic, and although I'm not practicing currently, there are many things that have happened in my life that are more than just "coincidences" to me, and thus I still very much identify as a Christian. However, this is just one facet of my being. I don't force my beliefs onto anyone. I just try to treat others how I would like to be treated. I think that is something we can all agree on.

in life...from womb to tomb. Now before I get stoned for being a pro-lifer, I just wanted to say I respect other women and their right to choose. It's just not my choice to be pro-choice. Women deserve better than abortion.

in helping protect and nurture those that need it-animals, children, the disabled, the very old, and Mother Earth.

in laughter. Geez, this world sometimes is so horrible. I think that if everyone started it off with a good laugh, it would be a much better place.

in love. I don't believe that there are exactly soul mates per say, but I do believe there are certain people that fate/God/etc. has place in your life for a reason. Love is powerful, passionate, wonderful, and life-changing. I mean my life was forever changed because I fell in love with another woman. Love is blind. And without love (not just romantic love, btw) we as humans are nothing.

Those are just some things I believe in. :)

I believe

I believe that we should believe in all children from the beginning.  Even the ones that seem to be the worst are just diamonds in the rough.

I believe healthcare is a right not a privelege.

I believe that adopting homeless animals rather than buying is the right thing to do.

I believe in offering a hand up to those who truly need it.

I believe that all people are deserving of respect.  We may not all see eye to eye, but we all deserve respect.

I believe that it's up to us to be the change that we want to see the world.

I believe I'm just begining everyday. I believe many things, that doesn't make them true.
