the court said that it's discrimination if you deny lesbian/gay couples the right to get married. they're the third state to OK gay marriage.

Two states in one year, and there's still more 2008 to come! I will tell my grandchildren about this amazing time in our history! Finally people are realizing (at least a little bit) that we deserve the right to marry!
:-D
This just made my month.
Go Connecticut!
And then there were three.... I am starting to feel hopeful.

EVERYONE this makes it THAT much more important that we help support No on Prop 8 in California. The latest polls have shown we are LOSING because we are WAY underfunded. PLEASE PLEASE donate to no on prop 8! if we lose california will be pushed back to the stone age!

Wonderful!
Yay!
I live in CT, and today got an email from a group I'm in saying "go get married." I had totally forgotten that this was still in the works! Yay CT!
How embarassing for CA if Prop 8 passes? They think they're all liberal...
Does anyone else think it's too easy to pass constitutional amendments in CA (and any other states with these rules)? You should need more than a simple majority vote by the people!
I just donated to the Prop 8 campaign - they better not lose!!!
Let's hope this keeps up and starts a trend!

I live in Connecticut....they finally did something right
