HOTlanta Help

Hello,

I am hoping someone from the ATL can give me a few tips about the must see/must do activities in the area. I am visiting for a few days (this Fri-Sun) and my internet searching has not led to many helpful recommendations. Any natives or transplants with suggestions? Please and thank you.  :)

What kind of things are you into?

Clubs?  Restaurants?  Bar/Pub?  Are you looking specifically for the gay/lesbian scene?  I've lived here for 10 years so I can give you a long list, but it's pointless if it's stuff you're not interestd in.

Thanks for the recs ladies

Thanks for the recs ladies - I appreciate it!

dancingdi - I would like to check out the gay scene but I have heard a lot of the bars have closed down so I am not too hopeful. I like artsy stuff and zoos and aquariums ect. but I also enjoy checking out the local's scene.

I think we are good to go for restaurants but if you have any insider info about clubs with good dance music and an "alternative" (queer/queer friendly) crowd I'd be very grateful. Thanks again!

If you like artsy stuff, definitely check out the High Museum of Art -- I thought they had a great collection.  www.high.org
