Lucy Lawless on the L Word?!? WHAT!?!?

AHHH!?!?! Lucy Lawless on the L word?!!

Lucy posted a new blog today on her website hinting that she may be making an appearance on the L word.  She Said:

"Also, look for me on The L Word at some point.  Can't tell you anything about that -- it's deep in the closet.
L"


She didn't elaborate.  Oh my.  Imagine the possibilities.  Too bad, it's still a few months away.  More to look forward to... :c)

I don't even know what to expect! Do I want her to be more of Xena or more of Number Three/D'Anna Biers? I'll love it, whatever she does. Hope that she doesn't get a too small role.

I always thought she could play Helena's sister or a relative, since they kind of look like each other.

This is part of the interview from The Advocate 10 October 2006 where Lucy made that reference:
Lawless spent four months filming Galactica in Vancouver, which is also the shooting grounds for The L Word. While in Canada, couldn't she have squeezed in an L Word cameo for her legion of lesbian fans?

"They came to me about The L Word early on," she reveals. 'Then they got some girl with a Xena haircut [Karina Lombard]. That's what often happens to me. They came to me about [the 1999 movie] Pushing Tin, and then at the last minute they said, 'Oh, never mind,' because Billy Bob [Thornton] had met Angelina [Jolie]. So what did they do? They gave her the haircut! I can't use that haircut anymore, because everyone else has done it."

 It looks like Lucy was initially lined up to play Marina............... very interesting

Oh my god! Lucy as Marina! The L Word would've been totally different! My LIFE would've been totally different. Karina Lombard is fantastic in the role, but now I'm a bit dissapointed Lucy didn't get it.

Gosh! I sure wish this is going to be true. I'll admit, I've placed The L Word on hiatus ever since Dana died, content in so far to just follow Scribe's recaps and pictures of the episodes each week.

.. If I have to take a stab, I'd say it's a possibility that she might Jenny's new love interest. That would certainly be paradoxical.

Omg. OMG. OMG!!! *hyperventilates*

That is like the most exciting news EVER. I have to admit I don't have high hopes for the storylines, but guest-star-wise this next season is shaping up to be the best ever! Yay!!

GREAT because obv. Lucy Lawless is the jamdest and SUCKY as all get out because The L Word takes ages to air over here in England and it isnt heavily advertised, usually shows at like 2 in the morning!

Still peeing myself with excitement! I bet she plays a straight girl at first 'deep in the closet' seems a give-away to that. Takin' all bets!! haha

I am definitely looking forward to Lucy's appearance(s) on the L Word in S6!  I don't care what kind of role she plays... as long as she is on the show.  ;)

 

Tonight - CSI Miami - will be watching for her!
