South Asian Lesbians... where are they?

Growing up I never thoguht that being gay was an option for Indians - gay Indians just didn't seem to exist in society and in the media.  Which is the case for many, if not most, minorities regardless of sexual orientation.  Anyway, I now realize that there ARE other Indian lesbians like myself, only now, I don't know where they are.  Any in the Tampa, FL area??

Also... does anyone have any advise on how to come out to Indian parents, especially if you're dating a non-Indian?  Can anyone share any experiences?  My entire family loves my gf, but I don't think that will be the case once they find out we're not "just friends."
