A first big step

Okay, this is going to sound really dorky, but I figured I could share this here.

 I was in Target and spied this really cute girl behind the counter.  SO I get in her line.  Smiled, struck up a conversation.

 Her: Hi

Me: (noticing a male associate standing behind her like he was helping) Are you new?

Her: Yes, kinda....yes (did I mention she had a great voice)

Guy:  It's a long story, but yea, she's new.

Me:  So basically she's been messing up and you've gotta keep an eye on her?

Them: (laugh)

 Yes, dorky, and it wasn't even obvious flirting, but it was a big moment for me.  At this rate, I might actually kiss a girl sometime in the next year, lol.
