Frankfurt - Art Galleries and Bars?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be spending a few days in Frankfurt with a friend next month, and we're looking for some good alternative art galleries to see, and we're also looking for a good club to go to--not necessarily a gay club, but just a good Friday-night spot for good music, good dancing, and relatively inexpensive entry/drink fees.

Gallery-wise, I was told that Artspace and Basis are good places to check out.

Bar-wise, I was told to check out King Kamehameha (which I hear is quite hard to get into, so we might just pass on that), Mittwoch auf Naxos, Cocoon, Club Galerie, and Club Goldfish...

If anyone knows anything about these places, or if anyone could recommend any other venues, that would be awesome.
