 Another restless morning filled of just sex with no strings, Shane awakes to a stranger in the bed, she barely remembers the woman's name except that she was "pretty good" in bed. By Shane's standards at least. 

 Woman: Good morning handsome. 

 Shane: (growls) morning doesn't start until after my coffee. 

Woman: Can I get you some?

Shane: (turns over and ignores the woman)

Woman: (rubs her back) Last was... amazing...

Shane: mmm. (hears her cell beep and picks it up) 

INCOMING TEXT: Che Pasa Vanilla? r u awake (From Papi)

Shane: Papi? I am now. (ignores the text and tosses her phone to the ground)

Woman: Girlfriend? Ex girlfriend?

Shane: (gets out of bed shirtless and throws on a beater) No. Umm.

Woman: I get it, (gets out of bed and puts on her clothes)

Shane: I had a good it's just...

Woman: Just a one night thing. I get it. You can be a little more direct.

Shane: You're right.

Woman: (sees herself to the door)

(cell phone rings)

Shane: Dammit Papi (looks and sees its Alice and picks up) 

Shane: Hello?

Alice: Hey Shane, you would not believe who just text me!

Shane: (goes into the kitchen and fixes some coffee) Papi? 

Alice: Did she text you too?

Shane: Mm hmm.

Alice: Well...I'll be. I thought I would be the only one she would want to reach out to. But anyways she wants to meet at the planet for lunch. 

Shane: Ok. I guess I can swing by.

Alice: Guess? Come on Shane! She suddenly just dropped off the face of the earth! Aren't you curious about what she's been up to?!

Shane: Not really.

Alice: I'm expecting you to be there.

Shane: Like I said, I guess I will. But don't count on it.

Alice: Did you have a bad lay last night?

Shane: Alice! come on now.

Alice: Hmm was she virgin?

Shane: Alice...

Alice: Ok..Ok... just do whatever you need to do but be at the planet at 2pm. (hangs up)

Shane: Alice? Alice? ALICE? (puts the phone down)

Jenny: (stands by the door way) Alice called me to. I think we should go.

Shane: I really have no interest in going, I need some alone time to think.

Jenny: You know... you been moody...even by your standards. What's wrong Shane.

Shane: I haven't been sleepy well. I need to go back to bed.

Jenny: I heard...well. We know what I heard last night. It sounded like you had a good time.

Shane: It's just sex, there's no emotion (sits down and slowly sips her coffee)

Jenny: Since when have you been all about emotion?

Shane: It's complicated.

Jenny: (sits next to shane) I'm sure we can all agree I'm the queen of complication.

Shane: (slightly grins) Ok... this whole marriage thing in california its got me thinking of... (pauses)

Jenny: Carmen?

Shane: (sighs) yeah. I mean I know there's ways to reach her, but it was made clear by her cousins she wants nothing to do with me.

Jenny: And who can blame her right? You left her at the alter, and now... what has it been? two years. Is the guilt finally hitting you?

Shane: Let's just say it's been suppressed.

Jenny: This has nothing to do with hanging out with friends. Let's just go out and see Papi. It wouldn't be the same without you there.

Shane: Ok.

Jenny: I'll leave you with your thoughts. (stands up)

Shane: Hey...Jenny

Jenny: (turns) Yes?

Shane: Thanks... you know... for hearing me out.

Jenny: (smiles and walks away)

At the planet

Kit: Papi! Girl! where have you been?!

Papi: Hey beautiful (hands her a rose) I've missed you. I had some family stuff to take care of.

Kit: All is good now? You back to stay.

Papi: For the moment.

Kit: I got a special table just reserved for my favorite girl.

Papi: Your favorite huh? So what happen between us? You know.

Kit: Oh Papi, that was... (takes her hand) something I will always look back on and be thankful of how understand you were.

Papi: If Papi can't understand than who can right?

Kit: That whole "Papi" bit. I really missed you (hugs her)

Papi: (hugs back and sees Alice and Tasha) T! Alicia! 

Kit: Let me go check on lunch. (goes into the kitchen)

Tasha: I'm so pissed at you. (grabs and gives her a hug)

Papi: I know! I know! But look at you two.

Alice: Where the hell have you been?

Papi: I promise I will explain everything... but first how are things with you two?

Alice: My show has been doing well.

Tasha: I been discharge. And taking things easy.

Papi: I saw you show, it was great you are finally making your dreams come true.

(they all sit down)

Alice: Shane and Jenny should be coming.

Papi: Bette and Tina?

(Kit brings in the drinks)

Kit: They went on a family vacation but they will be back next week. Are you still going to be in town?

Papi: (shrugs) depends.

Tasha: Depends? Depends on what?

Papi: On her.

Kit: Her? (sits down) Shane and Jenny better hurry their asses up. 

Tasha: You got another love bug bite.

Papi: This one. Is for reals.

Alice: Did you bring her?

Papi: She should be coming soon.

(Shane and Jenny walk in)

Papi: Yo Vanilla!

Shane: (nods and pulls up the chair in the corner) Hey Pops.

Jenny: It's good to see you Papi.

Papi: I guess everyone is here huh?

Jenny: What's the news? Did we miss it.

Alice: Apparently she's met someone.

Tasha: Alice, let Papi tell her story.

Papi: It's a family friend of mine, I mean we went to the same highschool and she was very much in the closet.

Alice: Did you guys reconnect on ourchart?

Papi: You and your chart. No. I saw her in a club one night and we just decided to hang out more.

Alice: Just hang out?

Papi: Getting into her pants wasn't my intention chica. Right Shane? You know how draining that can be. 

Shane: Yep (nods)

Tasha: Do I know her?

Papi: I think her family moved away when we hooked up.

Tasha: Let's not go there. (laughs) 

Jenny: I'm really happy for you by why no contact?

Tasha: Yeah, I must of texted your ass a thousand times.

Alice: And I sent you several emails.

Kit: I tried calling. A lot.

Papi: (looks at Shane)

Shane: I didn't reach out, Wax got burnt down and I had some issues.

Papi: Sorry to hear that.

Shane: (looks pass Papi's shoulder) It can't be. (whispers) 

(Flashes back to Max's Transprom fundraiser)

Carmen: So there was this girl Eva Torres. And we decided to go to this porn festival and that's where she taught me how to 69.

(Echos in shane's head) - Eva Torres - Eva Torres 

Alice: Shane? What's wrong... (sees Carmen) Oh. My. God.

(flashes back on the beach)

Tasha: It's only going to be six months. You still coming to my party? 

Alice: Who the hell is Eva Torres?

Tasha: That's just Papi.

(flash back fades)

Papi: (turns around) Everyone I would like to introduce, well you need no introduction right? Carmen, my finacee.
