you are right, it does not sound like them. Betts voice is way off. I'm with you. it's a shame that anyone who had not had the chance to see this on Showtime is not hearing it as it should be,  with their natural voices.

I noticed that their voices seem distorted or off-pitch too.  It sounds like the audio is playing at the wrong speed or the cast took a few hits from a helium balloon.  Hope they fix that.

I'm so happy someone else realized that! I was watching last night from the one i tivo'd last week and I was typing and looked up to figure out who was talking because I didn't recognize the voice and it was Bette! The pitch was waaaaaaay too high, that's just not Jennifer Beals's natural tonal inflection, very odd. I have a bit of what you might call a "phono-graphic memory" so I apologize for the technical critiquing lol. But yes, it is definitely different.

Okay, I thought it was just me. I was watching and thinking, how the hell did I ever listen to bette's voice.
