New to the south though, but have spent some time in Pinehurst NC and have driven often through the state while making my way from Maryland to Georgia. Just thought I would holler a "hey, y'all" back atcha. ;-)
I have spent some time in Boston and have driven from Boston to Maine. I absolutely loved it! I have been to every state north of Mass and every state south of NJ. What made you move to the south?
I grew up about an hour outside of Boston. Then went to the U of Maine up in Orono for college. I love New England. So much. I miss it a lot. My parents moved south. Currently I live with them so I can save up money for my move to Colombia. :)
I have a friend, who, after college spent a year travelling to every country in south and central america. She absolutely loved it and has been back many times since. But of all the countries in central and south America, I am curious as to why you chose Colombia.
Yeah, I miss the north east too. I especially miss the fall, which is my favorite time of year.
My girlfriend lives there. I am moving to be with her. It's a really beautiful and highly misunderstood country.
As far as New England: I did like the fall. But it was always too brief and led to terrible winters (especially in Maine). I liked spring (or in Maine: Mud season) the best. Good hiking in great parks (both National and State run). Ah Maine. Someday I shall return.
i've got family up in pinehurst. from hilton head island, SC, live in charleston now and have spent my fair share of time in and around the GA/SC/NC area. i'd say athens, ga is by far the best place in georgia for music/culture. (unless you give major points for being able to drink on the street legally in savannah)

hey everyone i'm fromt the south too. i'm originaly from texas, but i moved to arkansas, and get this my school mascot is a BEAVER. i'm a senioras well.
Those were an interesting 6 months. Then again, I was in the arm pit of tx (San Angelo). ;-) Austin was pretty awesome and so was San Antonio. One of my best friends lives in Houston, too.
I have spent quite a bit of time in AK. My Dad lives in SW MO, and we used to go to AK for various lake and river trips during my summers as a kid.

I moved to the state about a year ago. It did not live up to most of the stereotypes I had built up in my head. And that's a good thing! I was actually very pleasantly surprised.
Just a little further south on the SC/Georgia border
Yeah. I'm actually new to
What part of New England?
