'come to me' by koop feat. yukimi nagano. it's on koop's 'koop islands' album and on saint germain du pres cafe vol. 9.

i'm loving their 2001 album koop: alternative takes. i love dance mixed nu jazz tunes!

the band is from sweden and can be found on youtube. i recommend them very highly :oD

(i really like tom jones and the pretenders' tune 'lust for life' on his 'reloaded' album)

also: austrian rock chick christina stuermer's tunes 'revolution' and 'lebe lauter' (live louder) on her album of the same name.

If you love The Knife, and have not already heard of this, download Fever Ray especially the song, Keep The Streets Empty For Me.

Its the sisters solo project and sounds like The Knife on slow-mo. Amazing!

for me it's a tie between "I'd rather dance with you" by Kings of Convenience, "I've got you" by Tegan and Sara and "No one will know" by Bella. Oh, and "Painted by numbers" by The Sounds. I guess I could write endless lists because there are sooo many awesome, make-my-day songs :)

I can't stop listening Anyplace,anywhere,anytime by Nena & Kim Wilde.That music video they've made is kinda hot too,so maybe that has something to do with it :)

My MP3 player is slowly growing tired of the song 'Fett's Vett' by MC Chris. It's a funky tune; I'm normally not a huge fan of rap but this guy and this one track has me hooked.

I also have Missy Higgins' Where I stood on heavy rotation.

And Kidi..I am so glad that Nena can still inspire lust among a certain demographic-what an 80s icon and still out-cooling many a young pipsqueak. ;)

oh my goodness i couldn't agree more! every song paramore puts out is different unique and 10,000 types of awesomeness, but my favorite song by paramore will always be my heart, soo goood, but my favorite song at this moment would be a tie between eyes set to kill's darling, or 1997's 4 a.m. conversation or the material's with one voice. i bet you'd like the material, the lead singer colleen has a phenomenal voice and they have a really cool sound.

omg you listen to 1997? only 2 of my friends know who they are. i just had their new cd sent to me. i don't like whatever happened to alida's voice but they still have good lyrics. a better view of the rising moon is an album i listen to almost daily. i got to see them in concert in march. amazzzzzing. they played with archie star, maybe you know them? i went to see 1997 and ended up liking archie star more (only because AS has 2 extremely sexy females in their band--1997 is still better musically) . their female drummer is hoooot (she signed my arm) and i ended up smoking pot with some of the band members lol.

good times.
