'In the last book of the Gemma Doyle Series "The Sweet Far Thing" one of the main characters turns out to be a lesbian. The books are set in the 1800's in London at an all girls prep school. Gemma, not the lesbian and also the main character, has powers to enter the realms, a place of magic. the book is about her and her friends saving the realms. Its an amazing story and very addictng!  A very quick read, long books but you can't put them down. Plus the lesbian sub-plot! The books are by Libba Bray, go read them!
