DC Pride really isn't great. I haven't gone in a few years. Doubt I will go this year, but I've been tossing around the idea of having a DC AfterEllen meet up. I think that'd be more fun anyway. :)
I posted another thread about DC pride. This one didn't come up when I did a search though! Anyway, I've always gone with a large group of friends so maybe that's why I've always had fun? Although I am not a Betty fan or anything, I was excited about the women's concert this year. But I may be biased since I'm a regular at 9:30 for the concerts anyway. I always attend Pride, regardless of the lack-luster entertainment/events/guests, just because I like feeling a sense of community. I may not show up in rainbow gear, but it makes me feel less isolated when I'm around like-minded individuals. I also show up to show support, because visibility matters. It's an experience either way.

I would def go to that. Even if no AE staff were there it would be nice to meet some of the AE community in person.
