I JUST went to that site
I JUST went to that site not even a few minutes ago to look around because I noticed they had other gay sites listed on the bottom of the page on here (lol I'm kinda slow to notice things.) I felt kinda sneaky looking at the site like I'm spying. I wonder if any of our gay brothers have gone on here to look around (I'm sure they have) I think it'd be cute if somehow there was like a way they could link the two sites together because they are VERY similar and it's not like we're two different countries the gay community is all together. Like I like how we have our site with a whole bunch of other gay girls to connect with but it'd be cool if we had like just a community forum that could somehow let us all post together.
Rambling on....I do this often.
I don't think you can sign on with your AfterEllen username since it is a completely different (yet similar site) that's like asking if you can sign on Facebook with your myspace e-mail address.
I think there site is better...they have user points and ratings and a whole bunch of cooler stuff and like for relationship status they're more up to date with Married/Civil Partnership as a choice and the most serious thing we have is a Long Term Relationship.
I don't know, hopefully AfterEllen will update and keep up with them cause I think the karma points and ratings thing would be fun. I'm sure there's a lot of other cool stuff they have that we don't too ='[

But the points system was done away with...maybe because the points might have taken up valuable site space or something of that sort.
And we do have the married/civil partnership as a choice as well...it is not missing from this site.
As far as being able to login at AfterElton with our AfterEllen ids...I have no idea.

I guess I didn't see that lol. But I remember going to a few peoples profiles because I was bored and felt like snooping and some guy had Married/Civil Partnership and I never seen an AE member with that listed so I thought maybe it was just a choice on AfterElton and not here.
I just tried to log in with my AE name and it dosen't work.

You cannot login to AfterElton with your AfterEllen username, you'd have to create another.
As far as the points system we had, there was a lot of complaints about it so I think that's why it was done away with. Some members would intentionally edit their post again to add negative points. I don't know why it was such a big deal, I didn't mind the system.
