When I heard the song, I also thought it was Amy Winehouse.  The other song I liked in the episode was Mercy by Duffy.  About tonight's episode, it was awesome!!

There were other kisses in the episode. Maybe you noticed? Callie and Erica. Callie and Erica!! My god, did we discuss this a lot around here. Because Callie kisses a girl. We had this really cool meeting with GLAAD where we talked about the idea that a woman could decide she had feelings for another woman after being perfectly happy with men and we all got joyous because the chemistry between Callie and Erica and Mark is hot and interesting and fresh and like nothing any of us had seen on TV before. And we wanted it to be real – not some stunt to get people talking. We wanted to see what would happen if a woman suddenly had feelings for another woman. Because that has got to be surprising. And it is for Callie who so likes men. Who so likes sleeping with men. You’ll be very surprised when you find out where this story is heading next season. Because we don’t do things the easy way. And none of this will be easy. Not for Callie. Not for Erica. And not for Mark Sloan…How much do I love Mark Sloan? He’s a dirty pretty manwhore who ends up being a hero. And I love him for it. Not that he’s going to become a good guy. He’s no white hat. But for one moment, he did what he thought was the right thing. Because if there’s one thing he understands, it’s getting turned on by someone. And who is he to deny that?

Callie and Erica FTW. Seriously though, completely awesome. I totally squeed last night when they were kissing - and everyone in the room just laughed. It was completely awesome.

However.... did you all know that ABC has message boards? The things people are saying over there are just SO close minded and upsetting, and that really bugs me because I'm assuming that the producers read these things. If enough people over there are pissed off about the kiss, things may change. I don't know, I need to stop reading the messages over there I guess, but it's really bugging me a lot.

After tonight's lesbian kiss I'm glad to have tuned out this season. I think Callie is a lovely girl, but her "coming out" is just yet another attempt by the dark segments of society to make homosexuality acceptable to the masses.

The Bible says it's wrong, and that's good enough for me.

I've been reading similar comments all over the internet and have had to stop myself because otherwise I may just cry. I'm so exasperated by it all and I was going to write bitter and scathing diatribes in reply countless times. They would, however, have just fallen on deaf, bigoted ears so I thought I'd come here and moan instead, safe in the knowledge that you'll all know exactly how it makes my heart ache. Who the hell said that about sticks and stones?!

ANYHEW!!... 

I've loved the direction Grey's has been heading ever sice Hahn became a regular character (Brooke Smith?! WOWZA!). The kiss was FAB and despite the hatred I trust Shonda Rhimes (I don't know why!). I think, if anyone, she's the one most likely to say 'stick it' to the narrow minded masses and power ahead with what's sure to be a big mess of lovely lesbianism!

It's not all bad i've been on a lot of sites and there is ALOT of support for Callica and alot of people like this s/l.More people seem to like it than don't,though I know what you mean about the bigots they are ignorant trolls who you shouldn't let get you down and anyway their arguments are stupid it's mostly 'because the bible says so' garbage-that is not an argument.

ABC message board has quite a few trolls but what I love is they have more pro-gay posters (quite a few are self professed hetro's) who bash down the morons and have completely open minds.IMDB is another they are big fans of this s/l and very vocal about it.

So not all hetro posters on other boards are bigots alot are our friends and i'd like to say thanks for the support and i'm encouraged by what seems to be a more a positive attitude to this s/l than the less negative ones.Hopefully Shonda Rhimes will listen to the positive people and someway continue Callica next season.
