Liquid, a new hotspot marketed towards women, opens its doors for the first time this Saturday night @ 7PM with special events for the early birds.  I want to see women-owned and lesbian-owned businesses succeed, so if you live in or near Columbus, come on out (no pun intended) to Liquid.  It's gonna be like the Flintstones: you'll have a gay ol' time.

For those straight supporters, I don't know how it works with lesbian-marketed clubs and bars.  Thus, I can't tell you that you're welcome, but you can try to contact the staff to find out.  Maybe some of you out there know the answer to this: do they actually allow men into these establishments?  I know of fitness centers and bathhouses that are single sex only and there are women-only strip shows and cruises.  As for watering holes and dance clubs, maybe someone can shed some light on this touchy issue. I've always believed a bar is a bar and a club is a club: they all overprice their drinks and water the liquor down equally.
