ScreenplayNow before i get ostrasized for being a male on a largely lesbian web site, and being straight especially with the cliche that straight men and their views on lesbians largely put there by pornography have. I want to say that means nothing to me, i am a writer an artiste if you like and i love detail and accuracy above all other things, I just wanted to ask a lesbian and or lesbians, being as I know none personally ...about a fictional lesbian relationship and how it should be portrayed? With in the context of a sci-fi screennovel and length is not an issue, I can't go into much detail about the plot as it is incredibly complex as are the characters in it, this is something i plan hopefully on being a starwars beater...so i would like accuracy in your comments... The characters that are lesbians are an empress of a great human empire, she is a well educated and intellleigent woman who views the vast power she commands as a gilded cage that affords her no freedom, she is aged in her late 20's The second character is a rebellious hunter of a pestulant alien race that infests her home world, a kind of Lara Croft alike with no money but a large extended family of another 3 sisters and 2 brothers, she is the eldest of them, again in the late 20's So i would like to hear the lesbian writing communities ideas on how to procede with this instead of making a berk of myself on paper with it. I would also like to hear who you cast in these roles as well, if you had the chance? Thanks Gabe Submitted by gabriel lockhart (4 posts) on May 11, 2008 - 3:46pm. |

Good luck with your Screenplay.
I'm not sure I understand what you want our community to give you in feedback.
Your screenplay sounds interesting.
As a screenwriter myself I'm always up for discussing story ideas.
I hope someone else can guide you a little better.
Idea's
Nothing in particular, just idea's on how i should proceed and what if any well written lesbian dramas i can use for research material.
As i have no problem with writing straight romances, or should just pursue it like that but between two women.
