What's your most embarrassing coming out story?Let's see, mine is a tad long because i have to explain one story to get to the real story.... i think i might have confused myself with that sentence. anywho, a year ago i was my friends dorm party and we were all drinking and having a great time, till the cops showed up. They knocked and i ran and hid in my friends closet. why you ask? well because technically im not "legally" allowed to drink.so the cop said " you cant hide because you are six stories up" which led to all of us sitting in the living room giving our names and birthdates to the R.A. but if you are retarded when you are drunk, like me, you give them your name and your phone number repeatedly until he just decides to move on. that night i left with two left sandles on, one was 4 sizes bigger than the other and i didnt even notice.anyways thats besides the point. So i told this story to the girl i was infatuated with in the 9th grade when she was a senior. By this time i was in the 11th grade and she was a sophmore at Brown. I hadn't come out to her yet because i had only been out to my close friends for about 6 months. The next night we talked,i wanted to tell her i was gay so this was our conversation. Now, we were both good friends with this kid named jose: "did jose say anything about me to you?" "not really, just that you're crazy when you're drunk and that whole coming out of the closet thing", of course by this point i completly freak out and said "aww man he told you!?, he wasn't suppose to!" "wait, what are you talking about?" "what are you talking about?' "i was talking about that story you told me about the dorm...." "ohhhh" "were you talking about...you?" "yea...." akward silence... HAHAHAHA. That's actually
That is a ridiculously cute
That is a ridiculously cute story! I love it a lot!
I once prefaced a coming-out with this: "I have something to tell you...(huge pause).... because it's Christmas (it was Christmas Eve)...(longer pause)...and on Christmas you tell the truth" - In a fit of panic, I quoted Love Actually.
That's all I've got. Not really that embarrassing, just kind of awkward and silly.
Sooo Embarassing!!
haha mine was recent and
haha mine was recent and involved too much alcohol. I was at a friends party a few years ago and myself and a girl i used to see were both really drunk and we hadn't spoken in a year and we were both upset about the girls we had broken up with. And then we some how got into a conversation about our past relationship and we started kissing, blast from the past. We were making out and she pushed me against a wall the whole party saw and i wasn't really out to everyone. That isn't the main part things got a bit heated in our drunken state and we searched for a private part around the party or room. The guy who was throwing the partys parents were artists and we ended up in his out door studio we were kissing doing more . And then all of a sudden the door opens its the party throwers dad we pulled apart. the guys father who walked in on us is good friends with my parents so i was busted i dont think our excuse was very good either.
" i was sad "
" yeah she was sad i was comforting"
he just said " right and closed the door
i was wearing clothes but my tshirt was off .
These are hilarious.
These are hilarious.
"I was sad." *snort*
haha typo i didnt mean yeard
"I was sad" - HAH!
"I was sad" - HAH!
I don't really have an embarrasing one! At least not one that's embarrasing to me... but my favorite coming out story is a bit embarrasing for other people involved :P
So the place where I work is really informal and we're all pretty good friends, we have parties and hang out together outside of work all the time. I'm out to everyone at work - or so I thought!
Recently, we were just hanging around before a meeting. Somehow the subject turned to making out with boys (yes, boys in particular - I work mostly with straight girls), and I yelled something out about not having made out with a boy since I was 18. Well... it turned out that I *wasn't* out to everyone at work, because one of the guys I work with looked at me and went "What!? What's the matter with you!! That's seven years!!!", which of course caused everyone else to start laughing like crazy, me included. I repeatedly told him that I simply was not interested in making out with boys, but he kept offering me his friends, saying that some of them really needed to make out, soon! (He offered tall friends, short friends, dark-haired friends, blond friends... but all were guys!). He just didn't get it, and I thought it was too funny so didn't say anything. Eventually a girl I work with helped him out a bit, and the look on his face was priceless!
So then, everyone was laughing, and a girl I work with walked in, and asked what was so funny. I casually said "oh, I just told X that I haven't made out with a boy in seven years!", thinking she knew I was gay... but she just stared at me for a while, then exclaimed "WHAT! Are you a nun or something??"
It was pretty much the most entertaining day of my life.
These are so funny!
These are so funny! Fantastic idea for a topic. I'm almost a little jealous of some of them because they are so cute. And the day full of "Are you a nun?" sounds pretty priceless. Mine isn't nearly as good as some of these but I'll share anyways.
So when I decide to tell someone I do it like ripping off a band-aid, basically as fast as possible before I lose my nerve. I was hanging out with two of my friends, one who knew and one who didn't, and decided I should tell my other friend. I turn to her and say "Since we're all planning on moving in together next year I think it's only fair you know I'm gay," which would have been a pretty decent way of doing it if it didn't sound like "Sincemoveintogay." This, coupled with the loud music we were playing made it impossible for her to understand me. To compensate for the noise level I yell "I'm gay!" but of course my other friend had just paused the music to try to help me out. It wouldn't have been too bad, but the poor girl is from a pretty small sheltered town and had never had any gay friends. I think I scared her half to death screaming it in her face. She gaped at my like a fish for at least two solid minutes. My other friend would not stop teasing me about it later.
wow
I think that is all I got to say is Wow!!!!!!!
I don't have much of an embaring story like that. But I with this girl in one of my classes and she asked me what after ellen was about cause every time she sees me Im hear. I told her that it was a blog site that is pro GLBT. and she gave me the blank look o_O

I spent most of my
I spent most of my Undergraduate time at Uni protesting that I was staright. One of my friends was contstantly saying things like "If I didn't know better I'd say you were a dyke." now...this friend is one of the most flamboyant gay men you will EVER meet. Well....I started coming out to my friends in september of my Junior year but he and I hadn't had much of a chance to talk both being so busy with school and work. Well...I finaly caught up with him at a costume party jut before Halloween. My costume was letherpants, kneehigh black boots and a white, gauzy shirt to create a pirate costume. My frind comes up to me and jokes "Oh. Thank god! You came dressed as a lesbian." and I responded "No dear...Halloween is come as you aren't." His response? He ran screming through the room "[Insert my real name here] JUST CAME OUT!" over and over untill he reached one of our other firnds where he jumped on the poor unsuspecting guys back and yelled it one more time right in our friends ear. Before I had gotten past the door the entire party knew I "just came out"
"Nothing is impossible and there is no such thing as a lost cause"
Lesbian ties...
A guy I hadn't seen in a couple of years saw a picture of me wearing a tie...
him: "you look like a lesbian in that picture"
me: "um I am"
Nevertheless that didn't stop him from asking if he still had a chance...
The way my grandad found out was embarassing too, I told him I was going to Univeristy in Brighton, he replied by saying "that'`s pretty gay isn't it?" My dad and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing. Needless to say he got it after that
