Dylan and Helena, amazing chemistry, no more need be said!

Dana and Lara always be my number one fav, but recently I've feeling that Dylan and Helena "DYLENA" is going to be on top of the my fav couple list. 

i know this probably doesn't count because they were never a couple but i feel like they would have been a great one and they did hook-up: alice and laura.  That scene when they are doing like cat's craddle with the string...they both looked so cute!!  and i think they kind of were there for each other when dana died in ways that the others couldn't be.

But if i had to choose an official couple, i would choose Alice and tasha.

Dana and Alice 110%. 

Dana and Alice were best friends, and that really made their relationship special and sweet and sexy. I think I've broken my season 2 DVDs from watching them too much. It sucks so bad that Dana died, it was pointless and I think they would've had something really great if she had lived.

As far as living, breathing couples go, Bette and Tina get the prize. Beals and Holloman undeniably have the most insane chemistry ever shown on TV, and they are simply meant to be.   

Tina and Bette: Undeniably the hotest couple in the l word. Every scene they make is so intense not to mention so hot!! .. Both are excellent actors! Their chemistry is superb!

I would have to say my favorite couples would be Tina and Bette (obvious), Dana and Alice (so cute and funny), Shane and Carmen (I only say it because I thought Carmen was soo sexy and I will never forgive Shane for what she did), Jenny and Marina (I always thought they were meant to be). I was also a fan of Dana and Lara so when Dana left Alice for Lara then I found it hard to be mad at Dana or Lara for that, I just felt bad for Alice. I just started watching and right now I'm on the fourth season so those are about the only love connections I've come across.

Alice and Shane : obviously not linked romantically , but her friendship was stronger than a lot of relationships of this show .

Alice and Dana in S1 : again , not when they were romantically involved . I like the fact that Dana knew she could rely on Alice and Alice knew that Dana knew that . In all fairness , their friendship wasn't well balanced , Alice was always the one who gave away , yet at the same time she was aware of this and for her it wasn't a problem , so if she was happy with it....

I'm not particularly interested in romantic relationships , I like more subtle things .

Don't throw tomatoes at me ! I come in peace but... all of you that say Dana and Alice , didn't you find their relationship sick ? In the sense , of course they had a strong bond , but it was that kind of bond ?

I agree that their relationship could have been played out better near the end , but it was a relationship destined to last? Did it have potential ?

I'll say this knowing that maybe no one will agree with me , but I don't think that Alice was really in love with Dana . She cared about her , more than anyone could ever imagine , she was always there for her for sure , but I don't think she would have ever built something serious with her . Look at how much she fought in the relationship with Tasha ,knowing that she would have had to compromise a part of herself to make it work in the long run , while with Dana she became clingy and asking for something she knew Dana wasn't still ready/capable to give . But instead of trying to make it work , she became even more jealous . Not that their relationship would have worked out anyway ...

Whereas , even if when they were together and afterwards Dana didn't love Alice as much as Alice loved her - but because Dana was still uncapable of loving someone deep , she was too immature and inexperienced - had she had the time  and Alice not going on drugs because of her and Dana being totally indifferent to her former friend-ex lover mental state (thank you IC and the other writers for this genious idea :-( ) - she could have POTENTIALLY felt love towards Alice and being ready to get serious with her .

 Oh gee!! Don't make me choooose! I love Shane/Carmen & Alice/Dana. I also have to admit I did have a bit of a thing for Cherie/Shane in season 1. ;)

Dylena 4ever!!

There is no other serious choice for me, it is Dylena! Dylan and Helena... God, never seen such a great chemistry between two actors ever before! Rachel Shelley and Alexandra Hedison really did a great job! I just wish that IC had given them the happy ending they deserved in S6 instead of fu**ing it all up again and turning Helena in an alcoholic! Such a waste of a perfect, believable and hot couple! *sigh*

The two lovely ladies had insane chemistry comedic timing and smiles that would melt any heart. Dana may have been immature when it came to their relationship. But I think she loved Alice just as much Alice loved her. She just didn't express it well.  I firmly beleive that Dana's last words were words that she had always meant and she loved Alice more then just friends. Alice's break down after the break up maybe been over the top. But if you fall so deeply in love with someone so quick something is bound to happen.

Look...What I know Alice, is that, you never know how long anything is going to last. The only thing that anyone knows in the life is that anything can happen. You never know what's going to happen next.

I liked Carmen and Shane and Shane and Molly - mainly b/c of how the other characters affected Shane...BUT

Dana and Alice were by FAR my favorites b/c they were also so funny together.  

I say Shane and Molly, even if just because of that grin the Shane got when she was with Molly and for Molly being sooo sweeet :D And all of their conversations and everything ^_^

But Dylan and Helena were amazingly hot tooo!

Bette and Tina Definitly!!!!!  Their chemistry was soo intense i could not stop watching them.

Alice and Dana! They were just so fantastic together! I love how funny and how young their relationship was! I LOVE watching their scenes together in season two :D
You also do have to love Shane and Carmen :)
I also kind of had a love for the relationship that was blossoming between Kit and Ivin! Mainly because I adore the scene at the end of season one where Ivin mimes that song for Kit "'I'm your man" haha :) I have only watched up to season three so far, so I can't comment on the relationships in the other seasons :D

Hilarious, heartbreaking, and effing romantic. And REAL. Despite the ridiculous storyline shenanigins and other Chaiken bullshit, this pair somehow never fell anything short of genuine. From their initial BFF love-hate to the heart-pounding passion of Finally and, in the last days, the heart-wrenching bleak of impending death, I was right there with them, laughing and crying and holding my breath for more. It was difficult to lose Dana; it was devastating to lose Danish.

They had, arguably, the best chemistry I've ever witnessed between any two actors on television or in film. Not only did this dynamic duo LOOK beautiful together, the actresses complemented one another in every way known to mankind. Erin and Leisha belong to the ages - their natural chemistry was a consummate art form.

I think it's easy to forget that while great actors are a-plenty, effortless chemistry between great actors is ruby rare. Ilene Chaiken is a fool, but then again, Alice and Dana were always far too good for this failed-sexperiment of a show. Watching them onscreen was like discovering a diamond in one's toilet. Pleasantly surprising, but utterly devaluing to the gems involved.

Never before, never again. I miss them.

That relationship was so amazing to watch!!!

In my wildest dreams, I couldn't have put 2 women together that were both sooooo perfectly and idealistically beautiful for their role. They are the hottest of the HOTTTTT!!! 

Also, there was something special about how Carmen came along and kinda broke Shane's walls down. Maybe she didn't cure the "player" all the way but she changes Shane's life for sure. I love the idea of a relationship really making you better, even if it has to end at some point. Though, I REALLY wish Carmen hadn't left sooo soon. 

Dana and Alice all the way! I just loved them together but Shane/Carmen were definitely one of the hottest couples.
