Gossip Girl

JUST TO PUT THIS OUT THERE: I AM NOT SPOILING ANYTHING!!. secondly.... is it like "spin the wheel and it lands on "lesbian" week?" first Grey's Anatomy, now Gossip Girl. previews for next week shows there's a "gay bomb" that's been dropped. wtf?? it shows Blair's possey (sp) talking to either Blair, Sabrina, or Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg). jeeze.... raitings ploy or what?? besides that what did, if anybody else watches this show, think of this weeks (4/28/08) ep.?? personally i think that Georgina's an interesting character to add.... that's all i m going to say.

Well unfortunately it's not any of the girls. I won't say WHO it is, but I really wish it had at least led to a Blair/Serena smoochie lol

in the books (and I haven't read them in a long time) Chuck was gay I believe... but I think in the series it's setting up to be Serena's little brother Eric who is gay.. At least it looks like it will be him cause lets face it, he's pretty gayish.

i was in a rush to write.... what i think they did was to set it up as if it's one of the three girls.... it's too obvious to be them and then "gay bomb".... *boom* :).... it's someone entirely unexpected.

Perez has been reporting that it was going to be a guy for like the past month and then today he said his sources say it's S & G so I dunno. I think it's pretty obvious that if something does take place with S & G that it will be in a flashback that is unless she drugs Serena again..

 i also read on perez that GG has been getting horrible ratings as of lately so I really hope it for sure stays on for next season, it's such an addicting show.. I just think it needs to move back to its original night.. and stop competing with Bones for my 7pm  Monday night!

The time slot really is killing them. It's up against Bones AND Dancing With The Stars over on ABC. If they hadn't already been renewed for next season, I'd be getting worried.

urgh. I think DWTS is a ridiculous show (semi-celebrities dancing!?!) and I don't know how people can watch it but even so, GG shouldn't even try competing with it. 

 I love love love Bones but I've been watching GG on tv instead because Fox puts up Bones in HD on its website by Tuesday. This way I can actually watch it in better quality on my computer than I could on my actual tv.  It seems like all my favorite shows got moved to Monday..Bones, GG, and House..now if Grey's got bumped to Monday, I wouldn't have to turn on my tv the rest of the week.

Yeah, I read that tonight. They kiss, not surprisingly. I'm wondering if this was the rumored about girl/girl kiss back in November. Personally I'd much rather it be Blair and Serena, considering the chemistry Blake and Leighton exude together. So I'm slightly disappointed, I think Joshie is trying to go the Sweeps stunt route here.

The character coming out is a guy though, a supportiing character.

Blake and Leighton have great chemistry together but I think it would be awkward and forced if their characters did anything together now. If it is Serena and Georgina that end up kissing, I think it will be in a flashback to their wilder times...or at least I hope so, I actually really like Serena and Dan together.

They've already been renewed for a second season, I think shooting begins again in late June with a projected early fall premiere date.

The books pretty much make B/S quasi-canon, they've made out more times than I can remember. So I don't think it's jumping to imagine them together, even just a one off drunken smooch. The G/S thing was obviously being set up though with this latest episode. Rumor has it there's a threesome sex tape and that's what the girl/girl content contains.

for some reason I was thinking the whole hidden secret between Serena and Georgina was something along the lines of like drunkenly running over someone, but a sex tape is much better.

just so my post doesn't seem too long. lol. :D. the only song i remember was the one she played on GG n it's from 1994!! dang i feel old..... ish. she just disappeared.... to me at least.... this seemed so random, to me, for her to just pop up on GG.

So I'm thinking the 'girl on girl action' that Perez Hilton was reporting should have been in tonight's episode. That's the only place I can see it making sense in, with the potential threesome. Soooo did CW cut it or was it just speculated at and never actually got shot?

I'd still rather have Blake and Leighton smooching than anyone else though. Talk about chemistry....

I think we all deserve a little Blair/Serena action in season 2, do we not?  I'll take it in whatever form they're giving-flashback, flashforward, flashing.

It should be good!  Tell your friends to watch, those ratings really are dismal and we all know that with a show like that it takes time to unveil the lesbian and bicurious characters. 

Oh, and don't hit me, but I wouldn't mind a little Blair/Vanessa if we can't get her with Serena.  Alpha Females getting together can never be wrong, only entertaining.

I'm a huge Gossip Girl fan, well mostly I'm a fan of Blake and Leighton's scortching chemistry, but reading these comments about the dismal ratings have me worried. If it weren't renewed for the 2nd season, I would really be worried. I hope the ratings pick up, because Serena and Blair are so hot. Yum. I love how easy it is to picture them together, they're already in love. *sigh*
