News, Reviews & Commentary on Lesbian and Bisexual women in Entertainment and the Media

Psting, Poosting, Pasting, POSTING!

First of all I'd like to mention how much I love the fabulous new update of the website. I appreciate all the time and energy that has been put into keeping our site snazzy-looking and efficient. Thank you AfterEllen! Though, one downside to this new format, I've noticed, is that we can no longer delete or edit our past posts. I was going to protest about this before, but I was lazy and to be frank nothing I had written sparked my eye as needing to be fixed. Well that was until now. If you will look on my profile there is a post I made last month brilliantly entitled: "Lesbian Couples in Pubic" Yes that's right. "Pubic!" Now since I originally meant to type "public" I don't know what this title now means: naked lesbians, lesbians in furry triangle shaped costumes, lesbians visiting one of those very unfortunately named cities in the mid-west. Never-the-less, I am pleading with you all to send messages to the admins of this website to PLEASE return the almighty and forgiving post editor, because frankly, as amazing as we all are, we still do make mistakes; some more embarassing than others.

P.s. if I am just dense and cannot figure out how to edit my posts since the update, please inform me of how to do it and I will be sure to feel doubly embarassed.

Edit button?

Oh I know I must be logged in and I've always had the luxury of editing my posts after I've made mistakes but now it seems I can't. Is it just me?

Hehe

I can't do much about the site capabilities, but I can atleast edit your title from 'Pubic' to 'Public'.  ;)

Maybe this helps

You can always edit your post, unless someone replies to you.

Once someone has replied to your post you can no longer edit it.

-Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

Who doesn't blog these days?

I'm afraid I can't help

I'm totally technically incompetent, but I just wanted to say that this made me laugh so hard. Lesbians in furry triangle shaped costumes? That made my day.

Joy!

Well, that provides some consolation to my terrible predicament; thank you. Luckily some one changed my post title! Thank you! Now to figure out how to edit the rest of my posts. It seems to work some of the time but not others. Hmm... perhaps it is my brain playing tricks on me again. Or my asthmatic computer acting up again. I think I shall take it in for a tune-up in the morrow.

Posts that dont appear?

On the posting front i have a question.

I posted a comment and it hasnt appeared in the topic, despite that it is listed in my comments section on my profile.

Just wondered where it went!? lol
