Why would you move a topic that was drawing a crowdI recently posted a link to my site of Lesbian Fiction, beause that is what it is. I was surpriesed that now it is now in some obsure part of the site where you need directions, compass and guide dog to navigate there...... I am just a fledgling little site that is offering Lesbian Fiction for those that like to read of our lives, escapdes, trials and triumphs...... www.labinkypark.com was in no way a threat to your already popular site. But I thank you for creating a realm where I can post my chapter updates ladies. Just kindly leave directions for those that want to follow this little adventure of mine.

Hi Tesser-
In moving your thread I was in no means attempting to stiffle it, but rather to create a singular thread for users to post their fiction links. This just follows the flow of the site. If you look in the Advice or Music forums, there is a single thread dedicated to a particular topic or to promote one's music.
We get a great number of posters who promote their own sites by starting a new thread. In creating a thread specifically for members to promote their sites, we can sticky it at the top of the page so it will remain on page one without worry that they'll fall to page 2 where many do not venture. :)

Now could you tell me why the little email thing is locked
Like I said, I am new. I was wondering why the little email is locked beside my post of www.labinkypark.com and is there any way that I can gain access to them?

The icon next to a thread isn't an email symbol, but indicates a thread and notifies members of a new post when it is yellow. It's also different if it is a thread you have responded in. It doesn't lead to any actual emails or anything.
The lock symbol just indicates that the thread is now locked. I normally delete locked threads entirely after 1 week so any posters have a chance to see it was moved/locked.

I was concerned because I thought that something went terribly wrong due to what I had submitted. I thank you for taking the time to explain and to create this new thread for us online fiction writers. Please note that I have also added you as links from my site back to here. It is all about support. As a fledlging site that has just entered this arena, I am grateful for any support that you can give. I have an afterellen fan for sometime. Mostly catching up on the news. So again, thank you.
