Start with a full brunch (coffee, waffles, eggs, fruit, yogurt), a walk in the park to let it all settle, visit art gallery and maybe afterwards go lay at the park, talking and just enjoying a good sunny day, in the afternoon maybe get a bottle of wine and some good chocolate and head back to her place...or mine.

I think mine would be... At the beach. Take a walk on the boardwalk... look around the the little shops. Get an ice cream or french fries and people watch. Maybe stop in a bar have a drink. Go home change clothes and have diner in a nice restaurant, nothing fancy. Maybe a short walk on the beach afterwards. later go back to the beach house put some music on. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down over the bay. When the sun goes down put on a good romantic song on and slow dance to it.

You must be talking about Rehoboth.  It's a little harder to be romantic in Ocean City.  That sounds like a perfect date to me especially if it was in the off season.  Are you single???

Another perfect date would be a nice dinner then an evening walk through a museum then ice cream afterwards.

I took a girl Ice Skating once. At first she was a bit skeptical but she went along with it. I fell on my ass too many times to count while she skated circles around me laughing. We were in our own little world. I had dinner planned afterwards but she felt bad for me and offered to take me to her house so I could use her ice-pack ;). I always go with different on dates: Rock-Climbing (the fake rocks, I'm a total klutz), comedy clubs, boat or helicopter tours...I live in NYC so the possibilities for different are endless.

...doing something different/adventurous really shows quickly how well you're going to get on, and it's a laugh! Anything that requires safety gear :-)

hanging out at the beach, get some fish and chips followed by some ice cream. then sitting/lying on a blanket on the beach wathcing the sky get dark talking for ages and ages.... then back to whoever's house to watch a funny movie and have some hot chocolate (with marshmallows of course)

 

just casual, no fuss!

I'm from the Rehoboth area and it would be a great place for a date. Maybe because it's I'm immature but I think it would be fun to take a girl to Funland. HA.
It would probally be doing something competatvie like...playing paintball or something. Just so we aren't like...thrown into the uncomfortable silence moments or trying to come up with things to talk about right off the bat. That way when we settle down for a dinner we can be like "yeah, you totally got me in the shoulder when I was hiding behind the haystacks."

 Start with lunch nothing too OTT maybe starbucks, then taking a stroll round the musem (which is lots more fun than it sounds) then hitting a movie/arcade then to my favorite pub for a few drinks before saying goodnight :D

 

I am geek here me rawr!

 

Dance like no ones watching...but drink lots of vodka first

Getting your vehical towed at her place before you leave to go out together from her place and then "have" to sleep in her bed after you go out because you can't find a way home. Not that this has ever happened to me.....:p
