i just read Something so close to love by Artemis Callaghan, great story.  also The light fantastic by L.A. Tucker, the sequel is really good too. i'll also recommend anything by S.X. Meagher.

I just discovered how wonderful Xena was about two months ago. I had to order all of the seasons online, and I've been making my way through them methodically. I converted my friend to a Xena lover too, and we've been dangerously obsessed lately - but it's like everyone else is so over the Xena thing. This topic gave me hope lmao.

Thank you from me too! I had managed to find most of the websites on my own, but it sure is nice to have someone recommend me authors that are worth reading. It usually takes some time before I find one author that I really like, so it's great I can just go and check the ones you've mentioned out now instead of trying to figure out which ones are good on my own. I actually have two suggestions to add. Both are uber stories since I've been on an uber wave lately. They're both really great.

By the way I'm a new Xena fan too. Been one for three months now. :) I have got to thank my cousin Maya who got me obsessed with Battlestar Galactica which in turn got me obsessed with Lucy Lawless for that. :) Now, however, I'm out of episodes having watched everything already(should start rewatching some episodes soon), so I'm drowning myself in fanfiction or else I'll go in withdrawal. You could try stories from linda crist, tz and silk, or the ultimate uber xena directiory...or maybe a little T novan any or all these writers are good as far as there stories go. good hunting grrl.......

I got into Xena a couple of years back, when the last couple of episode of the sixth season episodes were airing in the UK. As a newfound lover of all things sappic, that was probably the best season for me to come in on. Especially since i think the first episode i saw was When Fates Collide. Awesome. Anyway, before i get carried away, i've read so much Xena fic, but i'm not good at remember names. The ones that are popping into my head right now though are, of course, Melissa Good's 'Journey of Soulmates' series. Anything she's touched is worth reading. I remember a while back actually finding a site online you could order audio book versions of that series... anyone else find those? A Bard Tale's Night is another really good one. I've read that a couple of times. My utter most favourite Uber (so far, i don't read too much Uber) is Fragments by Grit Jahning. I remember being totally enthralled when i read that. I know there are probably loads more, but i can't remember them right now....
