According to my profile Iam not exactly a newbie but in actuality I am. For the simple fact I forgot that I had an account. I love reading what's on this site. Anyone else from the queen city or near by? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

so of course I immediately assume that she means Charlotte!

The funny thing is, that's exactly what I thought when I first read it. Being from North Carolina, hearing Queen City always makes me think of Charlotte (and my friend from college who incessantly boasted of being from the QC--whatever happened to him?).
But, as I was about to post a response, I wondered: is there another Queen City? So I punched it into Google and the wiki entry came up.
