I'm not sold on their sound quite yet, but I'm tempted to go just because I think Leisha'd be a kick-ass on-stage performer.

I downloaded their EP about 4 months ago, and I love every Song. But it will deffinetly be a plus that I will be in the same room as Leisha Hailey. I cannot wait for April 30th.

Hey which gig are you guys going to? I just bought tickets yesterday to see them in Boston... *does a 10-second happy dance*. I saw them earlier this year in Dublin, and I thought they were really good. They sounded awesome, looked cute and very, very shy (esp. Leisha). Once they release their inner rock star, there's no stopping them... Can't wait for the album!
It's so weird though, I bought airline tickets both to Ireland and the US ages before they announced their gig schedule. So it's kinda like they're following me. Way spooky.
April 29th in Chicago, baby! Iw as actually kind of upset because I found out 2 days later. (I don't check my mypsace everyday) but as soon as I found out I bought them. Can't wait!
Shite, hope nobody got hurt!! And pity, seemed like a cool place.
I have nothing bad to say about how they sounded... (do you mean their skillz with the instruments or the sound system or...?) Definitely better acoustics than at the gym or whatevs in UK where I saw Tegan & Sara. Actually UHH was the fourth gig I attended in 8 days, so I was pretty much deaf, ears ringing und so wieder. And totally mesmerized by L & C + the ocean of lesbians surrounding me. They coulda snucked in a polka in there somewhere, I wouldn't necessarily have noticed.
Kidding! Lots of gawking lezziez though, there probably just to see Leisha. I think she was a bit intimidated by all the fuss. But yeah, I think their new material's real good, though hard to tell just by one listening.
Come to think of it, I remember them looking not-too-happy with their mics or instruments a few times. Or maybe just the overall sound. I don't remember, I was probably drunk. Hey when in Ireland...
Ah, okay, I stayed put and I was really near the stage so... Didn't notice anything :)
Thanks loads for the clip and well, I've said this a million times and you've heard it a gazillion times, but: the Irish accent!! *melts into a puddle*. Sweet gawd, it's hot.

On Mother's Day, May 11th UH HUH HER is slated to appear in Tampa at The Orpheum and I will be in attendance. I'm really looking forward to finally getting the chance to see and hear Leisha Hailey (and Camila Grey) in person.
I missed ever getting the chance to see Leisha when she was in The Murmurs/Gush, so I'll finally get my chance to hear her perform live.
I've also pre ordered the UH HUH HER CD, as doing so is supposed to get me an autographed copy (and I couldn't pass that opportunity up).
I was nervous that i wouldnt be able to make it cuz finals were that week but once i found out i didnt have one on the 21st i was like now i can party all night with Uh HUh Her
Plus i have to take 2 finals on the day of the concert soo what better way to celebrate favorite then with one of my favorite bands
Screw college its Leisha Hailey with a guitar for $15 lol

What did you think of their Dublin gig? I heard from a few that it was fairly ropey, sound wise.
Also, the venue burned down about a week ago!

Everyone was fine..
They got 800 peeps out in 7 minutes. Something about an electrical fault.
No, I know they sound good, but their show sounded really low apparently. Some girl walked over to the bar and couldn't hear a thing.
Have you seen this? It was posted on their website. It was done in Dublin.

Woot!
Thanks for the heads up! Got my tickets for the 9:30 Club. :)
Anyone else in the area going?
_________
Hey!
Yup!
My roommate bought us tickets. I'm so excited. And Varsity Theater's a relatively small venue, so basically anywhere you are, you're close.
