... so you're not getting one.
First of all, forgive me if my English isn't perfect, it's not my birth language and although I have a fairly large vocabulary - compared to the people I know, that is - I do make some mistakes.
Anyway, I discovered AfterEllen a few months ago and somewhere in January, I think, I decided to sign up. Then, 2 days ago, I finally clicked on the 'community' button, which led me to the forums and so here I am.
Err, okay. I guess I should be introducing myself by now. I'm running low on inspiration, but here goes nothing.
I'm Sofie (usually called Soof though), 16 years old, Belgian, brown belt in karate, atheist, lesbian (and recently out), television and youtube addict, right-handed, single and just a little bit crazy.
I like: chocolate, smileys, being sarcastic, the smell of rain when it's been dry for a while (which doesn't happen often in Belgium), drawing random stuff on important pieces of paper, wii-ing, writing silly stories, criticising commercials and ducks.
I don't like: know-it-alls (I'm the only one with the right to be like that!), homework, animal abuse, adults who think they're better than me, people who weigh about 50 kilos (I have absolutely no idea how much that is in pounds) nagging about their really obese bodies, humourless people, or worse, people who think they're funny but really are not.
So, this is me. Hi! Any questions? ^^

hello
the smell of rain when it's been dry for a while
I know what you mean and I have always liked that smell too!
Oh, and I do have one question...who is that in your avatar pic?
Welcome to the community forum.
:)
whos avatar
Wow, great pic of you!
But no, I was asking the original poster...as she said if there are any questions, just ask...and there is a pic of some sort of furry/fuzzy pet or stuff animal or something else as her avatar.
:)
v sorry
No worries.
aww
With an awesome photo like
The fuzzy pet
What an adorable furball. lol
So is the name "Yappie" kind of self-evident if one hangs around him (her?) long enough? lol :)
Lol
Yappie doesn't really have a meaning. Not that I know of anyway. They gave him that name in the animal shelter where we got him from.
yappie is a great name
hi welcome to the forums,
:)
HI!
I too am a Youtube addict! (I think there's a patch we can take)!
Welcome.
I too like chocolate. I have a bag full of Easter chocolates in my room, but my dad said I couldn't open it until Easter. It's torture.
When I read wii-ing, I almost spat out my drink in laughter, not at you hun, but the word just makes me giggle.
A little crazy? Join the club. I don't think anyone is perfectly normal, everyone has some crazy in them.
BTW, I'm 20 and english is my native language, and you speak it way better than I do.
