The World Unseen

Hello, I couldn't find a topic about this book, so I made my own.

I just finished the book and was hoping someone on this board might have read it, since I feel a need to discuss it with someone. If you have in fact read it, what is your take on the ending?

Spoiler warning!

Did Miriam decide to just work for Amina, or something more? Because I thought it was a bit odd with the huge set up with her not being happy with her marriage, and then she decides to stay (though gaining some control of her life). What did you think? I felt like the book wasn't quite finished yet...

My two cents

Spoiler ahead!

I think Miriam decided to work for Amina. And from what her husband said ("If you work, you're not my wife" uh.. something like that. Can't remember clearly), when she wrote the letter to tell Amina, Miriam knew what this decision meant to her . This also echos the last scene in the previous chapter, where Amina decided not to leave immediately (since her father said, "where would she find you if she decides to work for you?")
