"Vanessa Carlton - Hands On Me" music video

Just thought I'd share a little something with y'all. Vanessa Carlton reccently released the video for her new single, Hands on Me. I admit, the song is quite catchy, and what's more interesting is the video itself.

The video is pretty basic, with Carlton being shown at her piano. Around the ending half of the video, a pair of hands (presumably a belonging to a man) is shown caressing her face, and slipping off her skirt. At the end of the video, a multitude of couples are shown touching each other around the face and arms. The couples just happen to include two lesbian couples and one gay couple.

The video is gaining some criticism, from either the quality of the video itself to Carlton's image. Of course, some are disapproving of the inclusion of the same sex couples, while others are supportive and applaud her for including them. What do you think about it?

i think it's awesome that she alowed same sex couples in it. cause usually it's like boy girl boy girl, and even if she isn't gay it's nice that she includes us in it. You have to admit, it gets old seeing boy girl couples ALL THE TIME. Cuase usually heterosexuals (wheather they accept us or not), rarely include gay people in their videos (or much of anything). It just makes me appreciate her more that she did add gay people in it! :)
