I really want them to keep her in the show but to be honest the credits aren't a very good indicator. It probably takes quite a bit of time and money to change the credits so they'll probably just keep them the same until the end of the season regardless of whether or not she's in it. :(

But surely if they were aware she was leaving three eps in they wouldn't have included her in the credits at all?

 I really hope she is coming back!  I love Helena!  And I already lost Dana, I can't lose Helena too!!

You should know by now that they like to get rid of our favorite characters so they can make room for 5 others who we will inevitably find extremely annoying. 

They just CAN'T do that... They can't take Helena away... First at all she is to hot and fun to leave this... PLEASE COME BACK HELENA...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I saw on IMDB that she is filming another tv show, so I have a suspicion that she won't be back :(  I really hate that, just when I finally start to really like Helena, they take her away.  If that episode in which she left was her last, I'd be really upset, because there was no precursor and barely any reaction since she ran away.  Anyways, I hope I'm wrong, because Rachel Shelley is too hot and amazingly british and just adds so much to the show.

Just to add my two cents worth to the mix,I read (I don't recall where) that she was gonna come back in style...back to her old, kick-ass self... I hope this is true because as broadwaybabe says,none of the characters have made any reference to Helena at all since her daparture and whilst the show is never one for sticking to true life,this total silence on the issue is very odd,even for these women whose heads are so firmly up their beeeeehinds most of the time. Yeah,we need Helena's glitz and luscious locks back,and for the British audience I'd like to see her receive another imported chocolate bar, a la 'Flake'( handed to her so sweetly by Dylan..yum).

Damn, I really miss her. I've stopped watching the show - it's just not the same without Rachel Shelley.

I hope she has a better storyline in season 6 (if there is one).

Just to let you know that Rachel said at L4 in London that she would be returning in Season 6 and even if the Show she filmed the pilot for is picked up it would not clash with L-Word Filming.

 

Rachel also said she'd love it if Alexandra H returned as Dylan in Season 6.

 

So we get to see Rachel in the last Episode of Season 5 and then Season 6.
