I teach English in the inaka that is tottori prefecture. Our lesbian population is made up of me, and then one lesbian in the neighboring prefecture.

 

I'm in Osaka myself! I have 1 other lesbian friend here and I'm sure there are others but i've not met them. Tottori? That's the sand dunes, right?

Hey... Are you still in Japan? I am moving to Japan for an exchange in about 2 weeks, and planning on living there for 9 months-ish. I think I will need some friends...

I'll be visiting Tokyo for the first week of April. Anyone wanna meet up for coffee or anything? Or perhaps help recommend me some places to visit..

And I'll also be in Kyoto for one night.

Hopefully, I am going to live in Osaka soon but the military base being on lockdown has sort of put a damper on that for the moment. It will all depend on the social climate in these up coming months. If everything goes well I would not be adverse to a very small After Ellen in Japan meet up.

I live in the north, up in Tohoku, and I think the lesbian population in my prefecture is probably just me, though one of my co-workers is bi.  If I want to hit a lesbian club I have to go to Tokyo, which is rather expensive, and I only know of one club there anyway.  Does anyone know of any lesbian or gay friendly clubs/bars/places up north, maybe in Sendai or somewhere?  

Only queer girl in my picturesque, mountain town in the middle of the country.

I'm assuming some of you are here teaching English - is anyone out at school/in town etc.?
