whats your astrological sign?Hey, im new on this site and this is my first post. I dont know if anything like this has been asked already, i'm to lazy to search through the forums. But anyway, like it says in the title I was wondering what sign all you girls have. Basically im asking this because i wanted to see if there was a pattern. I know it sounds stupid but I got the idea from my friend(who is gay) she said that most lesbians are libras. I dont think this is true but i am wondering because me and my other two friends that are lesbians are all libra's.(the friend that told me this included) Also, they're the only gay people I know.(though I do suspect a few people in my class.) So anyway, I was hoping you guys could help me on this. Also, i'm interested in what you're opinion is on other signs. For example which signs do you get along with best, which ones dont you like, some past experienses you've had with certain signs from dating/friendship ect. i'm a Gemini born in the Third Quadrant (late June) and i'm a Scorpio Rising in my natal chart.
i don't necessarily believe in Zodiac fore-tellings mainly because all kinds of things can happen to all kinds of people, however i do find them amusing & entertaining.
astrology is complex; certain traits found in one sign can be found in others. that's because some people are complex...and others, well, complicating o(^_____^)o i won't get into that now though, i'll wait for more questions if you have any.
as for other signs...the people that are rock-solid and there for me really are EARTH signs. my Lover is a Taurus. my best friend in high school who understood me without words is a Virgo. there are also fellow Geminis and an Aquarius.
the people that are friends butake caution in getting too close are Aries, Leo & Sagittarius...am i blowing cold air? heh. it's okay, i'm flighty o(^_____^)o
my first girlfriend was an Aries. she was COMPLICATED but i understood her, thushe wasn't so complicated ashe made herself outo be...just a bit defensive and reclusive to the world... my ex girlfriend is truly forgettable... she's a Pisces. she used and manipulated me too much while i was kind & loving to her. buthen again, that's also my fault. i should take care noto be so+open to those who will trample my wounds...

pisces are extremely sensitive, artistic, and rely heavily on emotions to communicate. Geminis and pisces as a whole are extremely compatible-- we tend to need someone who is more centered and balanced, since we're pretty crazy with the whole dual personality thing going on.

uhm.. I have to agree. But I do get along better with people under Scorpio and Cancer than I do w/ those under Pisces.
I'm an Aquarius and I'm slightly wary of Pisces people. It's probably cause I've encountered too many Pisces people (family, friends) who are overly emotional, it's draining.
I do know someone who is a Pisces but isn't overly emotional and I get along with her pretty well. But in my experience, she's the exception and not the rule.

I knew I shouldn't have posted that; that I'd stir up the Pisces folks. That's why I tried to end it on a note of "the MIX is bad" not the Sign itself. But offense was taken anyway.
For me I know, in friendship and in romance, I am horribly attracted to Pisceans. I say horribly cuz I wish I weren't... I wish I could stop myself from finding that smart, dreamy, intuitive, magical, oh-so-sensual personality so damn irresistable. I kept an open mind for too long-- decades. Every time I'd swear "never again, my sanity is too precious to go through that ever again." And then the next magical lovely fun imaginative Pisces that came along, I'd weaken and say "maybe this time will be different."
I suspect the problem may be in defining what's "truth" and what's "spin"- when getting to know another person you need to be able to trust them, to know they're not going to later on change everything they said 180 degrees. That way madness lies. Not knowing what the "new truth" would be from day to day I couldn't keep up. The Pisceans I knew always felt like their ever-evolving truth was the only truth and if I couldn't keep up with the latest version that was my problem. And boy, when somebody messes with my head like that on purpose, it sure does become a problem. But then when you try to get the h*ll out of there because you're going crazy not knowing what the truth is ("today") they cry and collapse and accuse you of cruelty and abandonment and suddenly you're the bad guy just cuz you couldn't keep up with the ever-evolving truth. As I say this happened with both male and female, straight and gay, friend and lover. So do you blame me for giving up.
I take full responsibility for being one half-- a full 50%- of this really toxic "mix." I can't kill my attraction to Pisces, so I just have to make sure i don't get too close. I don't hate Pisces, I just can't have one in my life without becoming quickly suicidal.
Please, folks, don't be offended. God knows Geminis are probably the most despised/bad-mouthed of ALL the signs-- I've had to deal with that for years: we're reputed to be promiscuous, shallow, narcissistic, fickle, ADD, etc. So there. I don't want to get into an argument that will inflame many posters and bore the pants off everyone else.
[Although maybe the pants coming off in large numbers wouldn't be such a bad thing.]
So this is why I am presently just dating my gorgeous dog. We are very compatible and have never had any kind of communication problem. (I don't know what her sign is but I'm guessing maybe Libra.) : ) I'd trust her with my life, she never lies to me, and we keep each other out of trouble.

I'm a Pisces who has dated a few Geminis. I can honestly say that I have had my most intense sexual attractions which turned into incredible sexual encounters with a few Geminis. When we try to try it into a relationship, it gets a bit haywire. It lasted a couple of months with one, but it was very intense and so aggravating that I vowed never to date another Gemini. (Only half-true as much as I believe in astrology I won't write anyone off before giving it a try at least).
When I google and read astrology love match sites- almost all of them predict doom for the Fish & Twins (except one). So they may be onto something.

I'm a Capricorn, but I don't really identify with the typical description of a Capricorn. (Tend to be described as "serious" and "people who hate fantasy". I am a fantasy writer. o_O)
I've never really noticed other people's signs that much or seen it impact the way I interact with anyone. I'll say anyway: the two closest friends I've ever had were another Capricorn and and a Pieces, and I get along exceptionally well with my family consisting of an Aries, Gemini, and Scorpio.
I don't even think I know anybody that's a Libra...

Gemini - Aries Rising - Cancer Moon
I really don't think most lesbians are Librans, although I do know quite a few including an ex or two. . .
If I had to guess, I'd say there are a lot of Gemininian lesbians, and probably a lot of Leos and. . . oh, I dunno. I'm only guessing. *s*
As an air sign (Gemini), I tend to get along best with other air signs (Libra & Aquarius), and also with fire signs (Leo, Sagittarius, & Aries) but I also have close friends who are Capricorns, and Scorpios too.
I don't plan it that way, but frequently when I find myself drawn to someone, they usually turn out to be either a fire or air sign, with the ocassional Virgo or Cancer, or even Taurus thrown in.
I think I've mentioned everyone except Pisces. They can be a bit of a challenge for me because we operate so differently in the world. My first gf was a Pisces and she taught me a lot about "acceptance." I don't know that I will ever really understand Pisceans, so I either accept them or not.
Like my fellow Gemini said earlier, I try not to judge anyone by her sign, instead I've come to appreciate what each has to offer. Even if there is anything to astrology, there are so many influences to take into consideration. Sun sign alone is too general. It's more helpful to at least know Sun, Rising, and Moon signs.

my ex (Pisces) simply did not know how to communicate her feelings for me, verbally or by Action. actually, her actions contradicted her words when she said, "I Love you too." ~ even though we+wenthrough a difficult break-up, she taught me to always trust my intuition when i feel something is not right, to act automatically, instead of always waiting for her (or other person) - i taught her that Love is more than a Feeling, beyond words - that Love is a choice and an action. there were cons and pros in the aftermath of it all but my, how nice that your ex was a Pisces as well!
a girl in my c/o 2002 was a Pisces also. she was very insecure. and once she heard i was a lesbian, she would mock me by putting her breasts to my face (i'm short) or her butt in my face while i often had my headown on my desk, sleep deprived (o_____O) one time i drew a symmetric Geminimage in my friend's year book & she saw it...she+exclaimed, "OH, MY BOYFRIEND IS A GEMINI!" heh. ah, the memories o(^______^)o
