We started our long-awaited upgrade to Drupal 5.0 at 5am EST this morning, which will help with stability issues (yay!) and allow us to add some new features to the site (like user points, which you accumulate as you comment, blog, etc.) That does mean you'll see a little wonkiness on the site today, as we work out the kinks (especially some layout issues), but for the most part, the upgrade has been successful and you should see some good benefits from this over the next few weeks/months.
Oh, and glad you liked my little "lesbian processing" message - I figured if I was going to put up a "site down" page, I might as well make it funny! :)
