One Tree Hill

Does anyone here watch One Tree Hill? If so, what do you think of the friendship between Brooke and Peyton? Isn't it beautiful how they can fall out with each other but then find a way to come back together? I have to admit though with the closest that they share there is definitely room for something more intimate to develop between them. I think it would be interesting if there was an episode where they go to a party, have way too much to drink and wake up the next morning in bed together only to discover that they have no clothes on and they can't remember anything from the night before. The whole episode could be about how each of them personally deals with the possibility that they may have sleep together and the effect that it has on their friendship. What could thicken the plot even more is in a couple of episodes later, have one of them reveal that they did remember what happened that night and that they did sleep together. With the wondering out of the way they would now have to figure out if there's something more to their friendship and do they want to face that or will they just chalk it up to alcohol induced indiscretions of youth.

Okay, maybe I should just go and see if I can become a writer for the show.

dunno its a bit...just a bit ridiculous that idea. it could happen but i dunno...its so tipical the whole drunk sex thing.

Ok, so did anyone else think that the season premiere of One Tree Hill was fab?! I love where they took everyone's character.. especially Brooke.. whom I have a slight crush on! :) I love Bethany's new hairdo!! And let's not even get started on how absolutely adorable that little boy is!! But what I thought was most interesting was the way they always find a way to slip some lesbianish-undertone into their plot.. if only to tease!

- Brooke and Peyton trying to lure Nathan to walk by telling him that for every step he takes closer to them, they will kiss.... OMG... if ONLY!!

- Brooke jumping on top of Lucas' new g/f only to say "Wow this hasn't happened since college!" LOL I WANT THOSE FLASHBACKS!!!

OVerall I loved it.. I can't wait to see where they take the rest of the season!

As for wanting Brooke and Peyton to get together... I've wanted that since Season one!!! What are they waiting for?! LOL

I thought it was soooo good!! the little boy is the cutest thing ever..I love the way brooke is with him!!!  I am looking forward to every single episodes I have the first 3 seasons on dvd just waiting to buy the fourth which has 3 additional scenes on it.. like hayley having the baby and stuff like that!!!!

I loved the first episode for this season and yes, I noticed those "undertones" but what got me so much was that phone call that Peyton made. I so thought she was talking to Lucas and it turns out she was talking to Brooke. And then when Brooke was narrating that part towards the ending where she and Peyton were at the airport, she says "Home could be a boy or a girl..." There's a lot of intimacy between the two of them. I find their friendship truly touching and I wouldn't mind if they stay friends because most shows I watch women are always at each others throats so seeing a healthy friendship between women is good in my eyes. But if it develops into something more I think it would have to be treated delicately so that it wouldn't look like the writers are trying to throw in some same sex stuff for ratings.

I must admit that the idea of these two together is incredibly hot and I wouldn't put it past the writers to latch onto this idea, especially considering how totally ridiculous many of the OTH storylines have been (and are!). It doesn't mean that I don't still LOVE it though.

Although, they DID already touch on the "hip teen lesbian/bi storyline" and look how long THAT character lasted for. Pity!
