his new cd is amazing

i'm not HUGE into hip hop but aesop is one of my favorite artists and by far my favorite lyricist, he's gone to poetry slams all over and a friend of mine got to meet him. 

my friend also hooked me up with a cd by RJD2 who is a guy who just makes sweet beats and has a couple guys rap on his cd....and of course peaches new cd is awesomesauce

buuut also (yeah i've bought like 10 cds in the past month cuz my mp3 player broke-not mad about it)....

i've always known about le tigre..but never owned one of their cds

i bought "this island" and i didnt take it outa my cd player until i listend to it...i think like 5 times

u know when u buy a cd u love so much you try to NOT listen to it so you dont get sick of it? yeah i cant stop listening to it

but the best cd i've bought this year has gotta be Talk to La Bomb by the brazilian  girls...if you dont know who they are...just go buy talk to la bomb, no matter what music you're into...you'll dig it....ALOT....TRUST ME....its been like 4 months since i've bought their cd and like my whole TOWN is listening to it now...not even kidding

I can't remember the last physical CD I bought...but the last album I bought was Souther Weather by The Almost. I got that about 8 days ago.
I also got the single Misery Business by Paramore. I've listened to it 23 times and I've had it on my iPod for about 4 days.

O - Damien Rice, yeah I'm a little late on this one but it's a beautiful album, 9 is good too

Begin To Hope - Regina Spektor, "Samson" is defintely the best song I've heard this year. The lyrics are incredible, I swear everytime she gets to the refrain "You are my sweetest downfall, I loved you first," I tear up. Okay so I don't really but it's an incredible song and a brilliant album.

Coco - Colbie Coillat, I have to say this one was better than I thought it would be. I figured it would be all "cute surfer girl pop rock" after listening to "Bubbly", but it turned out to be a lot more mature than that. Good stuff.

One Cell In The Sea - A Fine Frenzy, just buy it and put number 6 on repeat, it's gonna be there for a while.

I rarely buy one cd EVER...

the Teddybears - soft machine. the whole album is pretty synthy but its got a broad spectrum of songs..this one has the "Punk Rocker" song writen and performed with Iggy Pop, and all sorts of other sweet sounds.
