comparing to "painkiller jane" the quality of "the bionic woman" was 1000times better.
and katee sackhoff playing a bad girl is just so much fun!!!

I quite enjoyed this pilot.
So weird after watching Michelle Ryan on 'Easties' for years. I so happy though, that she unlike many others has managed to break out of the soaps and do something like this. She was ace in Jekyll too.
Enjoyed her being badass during that fight ^_^
Oh yeah, and I loved the backing music of John Murphy. In the house, in a heartbeat is one of my fave pieces, I even went through the trouble of learning the ending on the guitar :-P

I was all happy and excited about Bionic Woman. I loved the first episode that full of Sarah Corvis and Jamie Sommers goodness. That fight scene was worth the wait so of course I tuned into the second episode. This episode was not so much worth the wait, even if it was only a week. Your right the show is all disjointed like they are trying to rush it along. I didn't expect that from the creaters of Battlestar. Battlestars characters are so complicated and complex that you cant help but fall into they're world and love every moment of it......sorry I was having a Laura Roslin fueled daydream....my mind is wandering today.
OMG the kid sister is just there to bust Jamies balls. I think originally she was only put there to be an explianation for why Jamie knew sign language. But then they recast the actor and turned her from a deaf girl into a computer hacker. I heard in a later episode Jamie hacks into her implant....wait that gave me a different mental picture.....anyway she hacks herself.....wait that didnt sound right either....my point is the sister is only there to explain or bring about a plot twist. Not good character development I guess when your only purpose is to be an explanation of a future plot point.
and every hot female on tv should have to do one armed pull ups at least onice in they're career!

I think that there's going to be some weird relationship with those two, and I hope it's not romantic or I will probably not be able to swallow it.
He seems a bit more interested in her than other people there. I'm just glad that in the next episode Kattee Sackhoff and Michelle Ryan may team up. They don't have to be lesbians, or even sleep with eachother, but having a symbiotic relationship will give us a taste of what we are craving. Really, I'm hoping they are gearing more to keep Sarah Corvis in the show, because she's the spice.

What is up with "I-Own-Your-Body" bionic/gov't/scientist man (see, I can't be bothered to remember his name)? He constantly overstates the obvious: "Right now you are thinking 'Wow the world is alot scarier than I thought' or 'you're thinking, I really want to help.' Which is it, Jamie?" Right. He is so annoying that I would cheer Jamie on to join the baddies.
Whoever writes the dialogue for this show needs to brush up on how to properly use camp. Every once in awhile he/she gets it right, or just lucks out because Katee Sackhoff knows how to act and can deliever camp like no one's business: "Break's Over."

I think I'm gonna try to watch the rest of the season but I barely got through this one. The only thing that saved it was I was watching for subtext bwt Ruth and Jamie...oh and waiting for Sarah Corvis......I'm still waiting but the shot of her in all black was so worth it.

I say good for Sackoff. Michelle Ryan has really disappointed me in her role as the Bionic Woman. I've watched all aired episodes, tried giving the show a chance but honestly, apart from Sackhoff, the show doesn't have much to give.
I don't know if it's poor casting or stories, probably both, but I'm giving up on Bionic Woman and can't really blame Sackoff for walking out either. Michelle Ryan wasn't the right lead for the role. It's apparent to me now.
