Technically it's your fault for listening to the radio and MTV. I don't know what people expect listening to MTV - of course there's going to be totally horseshit on there! MTV isn't music. Full stop.

My friend made me listen to this song the other day by Fall Out Boy. She listens to terrible music. Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance and The Used. When I hear them playing, it is not music. It's the sound of chaos. Seriously.

Hate to break it everyone but almost everything on MTV sucks ass... And as for Britney Spears, she sucks too, I don't consider her a musician at all. but then again I'm not much for pop but I keep up with it because then I can tell people how much it sucks :lol:

I agree with sammx on Gwen's newest song "Holla Back". It is the weirdest song i've heard in a long while. And the B A N A N A S thing is just wrong.

Other then that, i'd say Pop songs in general. I hate Britney and think she's completely gone over the edge now. What a nut. And I don't agree with these 10 year olds getting contracts (Jesse Mc-something). The guy sounds like a five year old for crissake!

I have only two songs that make me cringe.

1.) Don't cha by PussyCat Dolls. This song just seems so selfish and the women are full of themselves. They know what a guy wants and know he wants them but its for his girlfriend. The song makes them seem silly & not really thinking besides superficially.

2.) Wait, (Wispher song by Ying Yang) I love the beat but thats the only thing. The lyrics and video makes this song so depressing. All you see are beautiful women crawling on the ground and fighting over some, not even average looking men. The stereotype of women crawling, or dressing sexy on a pop sex filled track makes me sick. Is there anyone out there that's famous for their talent & not how many records they sold by wearing a teeny tiny swimsuit?

ANYTHING by Ciara. She is just unforgivably awful. I can at the very least stand most pop songs, but I can't stand her. Watching one of her videos is like being trapped in a nightmare.

i can't think of any other song worse than Shannon Noll's "Shine". The lyrics at the beginning of the song just does it for me. how is it that that went to #1.

Thank God that they still playing music on your MTV. In my country MTV is only playing old episodes of the real world, roomraiders, pimp my ride and dismissed. I am going to come off as such a music snob but oh well. I think that most music on the radio is trash. For some reason I am really bothered by "Candyshop" (I think) by 50 Cent. I think its just trash. Thats all I really know of popular music. Music is in a good and bad place right now. There is some really good indie stuff and at the same time there is Hillary Duff and Ashlee Simpson.
