Lesbro

A girl that hangs out with a bunch of gay guys in called a Fag Hag but what does that make me. I am a straight boy whose friends consist mostly of lesbiens. So i have dubbed myself a Lesbro. Let me know whut you think. Or if you think of anything better.

Not only do you dub yourself

Not only do you dub yourself lesbro, you also call yourself lesbian in your bio. Since you ask...I think you are being silly calling yourself lesbro and insulting, insensistive and misrepresenting calling yourself a lesbian. Just my opinion, since you asked!

"call me old fashioned but I prefer feminism that leaves a little something to the imagination!"

Well, honestly...

I think it would be better if someone else from the outside dubbed you as a "lesbro" instead because perhaps one of your female friends would have a good idea. As far as the lesbian thing goes, you really shouldn't call yourself that. Not an order, just what the above poster said, it's misrepresenting and ridiculous. Now I'm guessing you're probably not that bad of a guy if a lot of lesbians have befriended you, but remember one thing- don't ever try to pick up gay chicks by using the "I'm a lesbian" line. We absolutely hate that. Plus it would never work. You know?

i like "lesbro"

i have often wondered what the reverse of a fag hag would be called-- i am gonna start saying that now!

LESBRO!

Hilarious. As long as your friends aren't insulted by it but hell. It sounds less insulting than being called a fag hag lol.

oh but yeah i'm sure they have straight as an option on here so maybe choose that, yes?

I got a dick like a mule...with a big dick.

dyke tyke

A good friend of mine, a gay male, has a ton of lesbian friends. He calls himself a dyke tyke.
He didn't make the term up, but it isn't exactly in common usage as far as I know.

As for the offensive-ness of the term, he uses i tonly affectionately. Nearly every female friend he's ever had has ended up coming out to him, including me. It's sort of cute.

wrong name

I heard Julie Goldman call Dani Cambell, "Lesbro". Since Dani is a drag king...Why even give yourself a label? Label are misleading and just plain wrong. It's one thing if your lesbian friends call you that as a term of endearment...I'm just saying...

dani campbell is not a drag

dani campbell is not a drag king she is just butch lol. Haha I can't keep up with these silly things anymore, why would u wanna label yourself, when there are 1000's fighting against labels and such.

We call a gay guy that has a straight best girl friend a handbag! lol

Even though i'm against it I think Lesbro is hilarious lol haha

Lesbro!

I think it's really funny, man, so no problems here. I do believe that labels are wrong, but I also believe that some people get way too sensitive about them. So if it's all in good fun and between your own friends (who are okay with it), then by all means you are a Lesbro. Dyke Tyke is funny as well.

I believe we should be open to nicknames like this as long as it's in good humor with no ill intent. As a lesbian with mostly straight male friends I'm called "bro" and "dude" even though I'm clearly a girl (and not even that butch) and it doesn't really bother me in the slightest.

In the end, it all comes down to the situation. So tread lightly, and be respectful.

lesbro

i like the term lesbro it fit butches nicely or another term i like is futch i think its way better than butch cause butch just sounds very manly type of thing

Actually...

I've only ever heard that label applied to women...specifically lesbians who are just friends. For example:

"Are Alice and Tina a couple?"

 "No, they're just lesbros."
