I first saw Ellen Page when she played Kitty Pryde and got a huuuge crush on her, though I didn't really know who she was...haha. I actually haven't seen Juno yet, but after watching so many interviews with her, she's captured my little lesbian heart (and she's the same height as me! haha).

Anyway, I found an interesting/cute quote by her on my various internet journeys:

That totally describes how I was when I was younger, haha. I always wanted to be Aladdin...

Crossing my fingers in terms of her sexuality...but more than that (since I think if she doesn't want to say, it's her business), I feel like I can completely relate to her, especially in the whole short-tomboy-girl aspect!

My vote is: lezbyan. Yup. I didn't see Xmen 3 so I dunno about her run (though gait/movement is usually a dependable giveaway for me.) For me what pinged was her voice-- most specifically vocal delivery. We actrons notice stuff like that too.  In my experience not all lesbians have "that sound"... but the gals who do have that sound, are always lesbian.  Just my 2 3 5 cents.

The same blonde woman sat by Ellen at both the Independent Spirit Awards and the Oscars tonight.  No one sat on Ellen's other side (she was on the aisle) and definitely not a seat filler,  She was there during the lead actress nominee announcement and when Diablo Cody won her Oscar.  If that is Ellen's girlfriend, the rumors about her being quite a bit older than Ellen is true (I'd say maybe 10 years).  And good news that Ellen did not go the merkin route.

There are sexual scenes of the two girls, but really only one girl falls in love, its all games, basically.

And Ellen is very smart and amazing about her choices for taking on roles, just because she is doing a film about two girls finding themselves attracted to each other, doesnt mean she, herself, is into girls. And they way she dresses, doesnt define a person.

and she even has a new movie coming out, Juno. I think she's going to be a HUGE star one day, she has great taste in movies and music and so that helps with picking good projects. And she has this very different air about her than most movie stars. She's not obsessed with celebrity as others are.

I have a massive crush on Ellen Page. I think she's just a brilliant actress. Hard Candy was amazing. She was also really great in Mouth To Mouth.
I'm dying for Juno! After seeing the trailer a few times in the net I finally saw the trailer in the theater today and I had to resist my swoon. It has an amazing cast to act along with her though too. Any movie with the line "That ain't no etch-a-sketch home skillet" has to be brilliant.

Michael Musto spent most of his column basically outing Ellen Page.

Look, I really like Michael Musto. I think he is funny and witty and a much better writer than I ever could hope to be, but I think that just because she never has had a boyfriend that she has publicly spoken about makes her gay. She has only been in the public eye for a very short time and so to have every question answered about her already seems kind of unfair. Let her get some time spent in Hollywood first, then you can go ahead and do this. Hell, I love playing the Is So And So Gay? game, but for some reason it just feels wrong to do it to someone who hasn't been in town long enough to know how the game is played.

Musto even quotes a website which he doesn't name as saying Ellen is an out lesbian. Fine, if she is, then I am sure she will talk about it, but until then, give her some time. You know I love snark and skewering people, but for some reason this time it just doesn't seem right. I enjoy snark and skewering celebrities when they deserve it for something they have done, not just for the sake of doing it. What makes Ellen Page different from say Ryan or Hayden is both of them hold themselves out to be straight. Fine, maybe they are, but if they are not, then they are lying to the public. Ellen Page hasn't done that, and doesn't really deserve the tag that will now follow her forever whether it is true or not.

If you read some of the comments after it, somebody says that the women next to her at the Oscars is her publicist Kelly Bush who is actually out.

I might be stirring a pot that doesn't need any more stirring, but one picture of the lovely Ellen Page might just tickle our fancy...

She is not dating Ben Foster. Ben Foster has been dating Zoe Kravitz for a while now. I'm not sure if she is a lesbian or not, and I try not to guess because I am horrible at it. If she is, then it is her business and she will come out when she is ready.

A bit slow on the pace here but still thought i'd give my two cents on the SNL matter, if only just to keep this discussion going! 

I appear to have formed a bit of an Ellen Page obsession over the past few weeks since my male friend said that she was officially gay (I was rather unbelieving at this prospect of her being 'out' so came to investigate... my love for Page has blossomed at a somewhat staggering rate! We continue...). Anyway as i've been reading about the rumours and the whole Saturday Night Live thing i've been increasingly intrigued, and today I finally watched her 'gay' skit as I got back to fast internet.... I have no idea what the show entails as Brit myself. From watching clips I can only imagine it's a bit like The Friday Night Project we have over here where celebs host and do silly things and make jokes about themselves/interview others, which probably stole the idea from SNL?)... but all I can say is why is anyone doubting that was a coming-out moment?!

I can understand that it might be a joke if she was mocking a film/tv show (is she?) like the Boleyn sketch say, but from what i've gathered it was quite random and self-mocking rather than anything else... I know it was supposed to be 'comedy', but the way it ended so seriously with the 'if you are a lesbian then i'll go gay for you...' thing. It was if the moral was 'it's ok Ellen... we still accept you!'.

Perhaps i'm too eager to believe this, and I obviously don't know the show, but it seems an awfully odd 'comedy sketch' to put on - especially with its almost serious poignant ending. Has nobody commented on this aspect before?!

On another note, I watched the intro clip off her website to start SNL and god she was so confident and adorable!
