From comments there http://www.afterellen.com/node/7751 I'm not sure that feature's available yet but if you just want to add an image, you can use the "create content" link (under My Account/ my inbox), the rest should be straightforward (if not post again and I'll try and give more details).

If you post comments using the rich-text feature (the one with all the icons), you can also use the tree icon (after the camera one) to insert a picture. Worked fine for me.
