Some of those are really laughable... like when they have The Cure than put "(makeup)" x). A lot of those bands I assosciated more with people having good taste rather than a sexual preference... like The Smiths.

It also refers to Oscar Wilde as a reformed homosexual which is ridiculous. He considered his homosexual encounters with younger men to be the most pure form of affection in the world.

lindsay lohan can turn u gay? wow never heard that one before. also why are jay-z and eminem on the list. going through this site i realised something....i should turn straight i mean theres some sensible stuff in there.....just kidding. what i did realise is how many people actually have nothing to do. i mean how boring and empty your life has to be to make it your life goal to make people hate people who are doing nothing wrong. why cant they just let us be. you dont see us tryin to recruit people, we dont inflict in the desicions of how they live their lives as long as it doesnt effect ours and thats what they should do

I saw Donnie Davies’s website some months ago, and while I laughed at his list of bands, his quoting Oscar Wilde and calling him a “reformed homosexual” made me a little upset.

So I took a quick look around and found that Donnie is one of those “ex gays.”  I watched his video of “God Hates Fags” and did what anyone would’ve done:  I set up a new email account, sent Donnie a message, and asked for help with all the dirty thoughts I was having.  Oh, and I included a pic of myself (myself if, ya know, I was a cute, blond 22 yr old boy).

I’m sad to say I never heard back from Donnie.    :( 

Truly I never thought I could visit a website with a title like that and enjoy it. And if that website's list holds true, all my friends are even gayer than I am. That's AWESOME!!!

The whole thing is much too , well...gay to be real. Come on! A chubby ex-gay in a pink shirt and white pants singing a gay lil tune...with only one thing to tie him to masculinity, an uglyass stache. I think either way, hoax or no hoax, it´s just so silly it´s fun. If it is a hoax , whoever come up with this is a genious.

P.s. I do, however, get the feeling that this is possibly a guerrilla marketing ploy. Maybe an MTV like thing...which makes it uncool in that "advertising sucks" kind of way, but very clever in the "advertising is my life" kind of way. You know what I mean?

I was thinking about this today and it reminds me of the South Park episode called, "Cartman Sucks". If you haven't seen it than what happens is Butters has an incident with Cartman which has his father mistake him for being a bisexual. His father sends him to a camp where they "pray to get rid of the way". It is led by a "reformed homosexual". That's the part that reminded me of it but the episode is really great. The whole time Butters never gets whats going on, even when another boy has a crush on him <33333.

Is it just me, or do they have more than 70% of the bands (etc.) that are popular today?!

That I'm against half of those 'gay' bands. I don't like their music. And a lot of them in the middle of the list are bands that a lot music is based on or around today. I mean, look at how influential Morissey is in music today. Very. That's ridic. And I only really listen to about 6 or 6 bands on there. I mean look at the modern bands that can apparently 'turn you gay.' Jay-Z? Seriously? He's not that bad but when I read that name I was astonished!
