Mulholland Drive

I just saw Mulholland Drive. I didn't realize the romance between Naomi Watts' character and Laura Herring's character was so prominent in the story. Well, stories really. There were like ten different stories happening there. Which brings me to my question: can anyone out there explain to me what happenend in that movie?!? I followed for the first part, but then stuff just got weird. I think I'd need David Lynch himself there to watch it with me to understand. I still iked the movie though, especially *ahem* certain parts.
