I think Mercy meant she couldn't find the topic on this forum, not on the net in general. I'd have trouble believing anyone couldn't find some Xena related fan information through google. Xena fan fiction saved me during my closeted high school days.
AE used to have a flourishing Xena forum - I guess it got deleted in the move to the new board format. That just means all the old conversations can begin again!

Peaches is a short feature film (i dont think it's longer than 15mins) featuring Lucy in her younger days - before Hercules if I remember well.
In the movie she stars as a young truck driver who has an interesting scene with another woman and a peach. Nothing fabulous or anything but yes it may raise a few eyebrows.

I don't know if you're familiar with the virtual subtext seasons 7-8-9 but i kind of like their idea to bring Xena back, it's well thought.
I'd like to think that Xena's selfless act was her ultimate redemption. That by doing so she redeemed herself in the eyes of those she wronged but also - and more importantly - in her ow eyes. I'd combine her sacrifice with the bond that links her to Gabrielle in life and death and find some mystical, eastern asian myth to try and bring her back. They'd both have to overcome challenges on each side of life, Gabrielle proving her love, strength and will to bring her friend back; Xena proving her love and devotion and accepting that she is a good person who deserves another chance in life.
Something like that...

Last time we saw our lovely ladies, Gabs was on a boat to Egypt, was she not? Simply put, Gabs and Autoclycus go up against Anubis to steal the Book of the Dead. There would be battles and what not, then lots of sex. I started a script ages ago, would have to find it again and share some! The first part is the best, but that's just me being 'modest', as usual!

''When Fates Collide'' is one of the best episodes, it brought Xena and Gabrielle's relationship to another level, emphasized the soulmate and made it pretty clear that there was more to their travels together than friendship.
"One agst an army" for me was also one of the best because it combined drama with a lot of action. Plausible facts aside, the action sequences were brilliant and I think it was one of the best of the series (IMHO). And of course in this episode were some of the most memorable X&G quotes ! !
On the comedy level I love "A day in life" because I like the concept of it; it feels like a behind the scenes of their life and it's pretty cool. I didn't like the storyline of the big bad giant and what's-his-name being 'in love' with xena.
Other favourite comedy is "been there, done that" because I like the idea of the day repeating itself and Xena going crazy!
Aside from favourite episodes, I have a soft spot for any episode directed by Michael Hurst because I think he does a brilliant work and brings the stories to life on a whole different level. The aesthetics and the camera movements he uses are really great. A day in the life, to helicon and back, antony and cleo, who's gurkhan... all great episodes.
The Big Xena Love
When Fates Collide is my favorite episode too -- well, "favorite" is a hard word to use, it's in my all-tied-for-first top ten list.
I'm marathoning the series with a friend who'd never seen it before, and it's amazing seeing it again, in order, with a virgin, after all these years. It's given me back the big Xena love ... and then going to the convention in January and getting to interview Lucy and Renee for AfterEllen, and then interviewing Lucy again last weekend ... well, it was worth all those years in journalism school, LOL!

Although the ones that immediately come to mind are Old Ares had a Farm, Is There a Doctor in the House, and Married With Fishsticks.
Seriously, this show is what helped me discover I was gay. I got completely OBSESSED. I would go online and look up site, and read all this stuff about it being a gay icon TV show. I was so confused I was like, "If I watch this, does it mean I'm gay?" I started to make up excuses like, no, I don't find their bodies attractive, I just find the human body a beautiful thing. Couple years later, yeah...thinking I'm definitely not straight.

haha there are quite a few discussions about Xena's age around the web... mostly because every flashback you see in the series says "10 winters ago" (whether she be the Destroyer of nations or a valkryie)
With some friend I think we gave her 35 or so... let me try and remember why...
We assumed her village was attacked when she was 16... Gave her a year before she met and was betrayed by Caesar...Then a couple more years to travel to Chin and Japa and come back to destroy a few amazons...Look for the stone...Have a baby...We figured she had Solan at about 19/20...
Then when she sees him in "Orphan of war" they say she had him 10 winters before so by then we're assuming Xena is 29years.... Or let's say 30 for good measure. Then when she 'dies' and her and Gabby are frozen technically they don't get older so we're assuming she 'died' at 33 and was revived at 33... (or otherwise she'd be 58 already). Then she lost one year when she lost her memory so by the end of the Ring trilogy she is 34...
So I'd say she's in her late thirties... Or her early sixties depending if you count the 25yrs in ice or not =P

The series premier of Xena is on tomorrow (the 9th) at seven am on Oxygen. I'm guessing most people here have seen it, but if you haven't (I haven't) now would be the time to start since it's starting over from the beginning.
I'm planning on watching it -- is anyone else? Please don't post any spoilers here. I don't know much about the series as a whole -- well besides the basic subtext thing,
some uber/AU fic,and a handful of random episodes that I've seen.It's good timing, with the writers on strike and television as we know it coming to an end . . . okay, maybe I'm being a *tad* dramatic . . . but with new episodes running out and writers not writing . . . like I said, good timing.

i've always loved xena when i was little and i remember playing "xena and gabrielle" in the neighborhood with my friends, (yea who'da tought i'd turn out to be gay lol).
i recently got the 1st three seasons of xena bc of an article i read on here about renee and lucy then which caused my head to start turning and now i can'[t stop watching them!!! i didn't pass out unti 2pm today bc i was up from 10pm last night til then watching them and the bonus features!
this has made everyone one of my favorite shows look like childs play. 2 of my favorites buffy and angel, were at the top, but they stole ALOT of plots/storylines from xena ike when xenaz had to stab marcus(angel and buffy), gab giving birth to an evil spawn(chordy if i'm not mistaken), a great musical, i could go on with so much more its not even funny! i stil love em but XENA's number one now forever!
and collisto drives me wild whenever i see her on screen :D hudson, renee and lucy..just heaven. i've had crushes b4 but with those people i knew that if i actually met them i'd beable to talk and be normal. but i swear if i wereto ever meet them i can see myself just dumbstruck babbling not being able to say a single thing probably pass out from shock with a smile on my face. yes, i've got it bad!
