Why can't I get rid of my user picture?I'd like to get a new user picture, or at least to remove the present one, but I can't do it! There seems to be no problems in uploading the new pic, but as I go back to see my profile, the old picture is still there. And yes, the new picture is small enough and all, but it just won't work! I was impatient too.
I was guilty of being impatient too, Johanna.

I played around with the "user photo" and had difficulty.
I could delete, but when I tried to add a new photo...it wouldn't change.Then, I started just adding a little photo at the end of my posts.
When I finally figured out what I was doing...I had some posts with double photos (which looked "Oh so vain!" ;-) ) and I discovered that I could no longer edit them out. Oops!
Oh, well. (I'm a rookie.) I just thought I'd confess too.

That when you changed your avatar, the previous picture you'd had would go to your album, so that you could use it again if you wanted to. I like being able to change my avatars, however, to reflect my mood!
