I don't know if we can count last season as having any lesbic angle. Yeah, there were the comments about Ann and Eve, but who knows what really went on? In Season One, there was actually an out lesbian, but hasn't been one (or out bisexual) since then. Maybe it's time for another one?

I missed it on Wed, but will watch the rebroadcast tonight.

Hmm, after reading the number of "please PM me" requests, why don't you (that is, whoever knows it) please post the link here in the thread? It's not going to be a "secret" anyway if everyone has it via PM, and public websites like My Space are fair game for public consumption anyway. Besides, if she made a My Space account in the first place then she's not exactly hiding her "secret", is she?

Ann, Eva, and Norelle never confirmed anything so I don't think that counts. In fact, Ann played the boyfriend card and straight up denied being gay (did anyone even ask Eva and Norelle?).

Hah, Michelle did come out in today's ep. I was a little annoyed. Were the dramatics REALLY necessary? Especially with an out lesbian in the first season/cycle (and the 3rd cycle being all about lesbain subtext, lol).

Niama's still my play girlfriend for this season. I think she's so cute.

It WAS dramatic, but of course that's how it goes with reality tv. Of course they had to build up suspense with Michelle's "big secret" and with Rebecca's collapse. But I'm glad her coming out was handled in a mostly positive manner... it was portrayed to be a healthy step for Michelle, and all the girls she told were supportive. I'm also glad she took a good photo and wasn't eliminated! (although I was disappointed to see Sarah go). I hope Michelle sticks around for awhile.

I thought it was funny how when Michelle told Brandy and Tiffany she was bi, Brandy said something like, "I'm gonna need to tell you that I've had fantasies about other women" and then Tiffany said, "Who? Me?" I like Tiffany this season. She really seems to have cleaned up her act. I hope she does well.

I definitely hope Naima wins it though. She is too hot! I still think there is a possibility that she could be bi or gay also. There could be two queer girls in one season!

This season looks like it's off to plenty of drama, but nothing in my mind can compete with the lesbian subtext of Ann, Norelle, and Eva in Season 3. That is unless something other than subtext is shown on this season! :wink:

Sarah was so cute in episode one.... *sob sob*.....

I'm glad there's a girl out on the show, and the reactions were cool and all. And Michelle seemed better for coming out with it. I just rolled my eyes at all the unnecessary drama. It was just a little much for me.

I'm confused... I wasn't really paying close attention. Did she come out as gay or bi? First Michelle says she's gay, then I heard one of the girls saying she has no problem with bisexuality, and then it showed Michelle being asked if she was gay again, and she said yes. Was it just not made clear?

FYI Since michelle officially came out on the show, I've moved this thread to the "All other TV shows with lesbian/bi characters" section.

It's great that she came out and now that she's gotten that off her chest I hope she can be a little less crazy. I especially liked the fact that Brittany (?) and Tiffany were instantly accepting of her. I know how there were trying to portray those two girls and I'm glad that they rose above it. BTW Michelle doesn't look that great in reality but she takes awesome photos.

As for Rebecca, I wanted to like her cause she looks like Hilary Burton and Hilary's cool, but she blows. and she takes a lame photo.

Naima is my favorite. I like my girls spunky.

I hate these shows where women compete
because they always emphasis the fighting
and not the loving if you know what I mean...
they think the audience rather see them fight
than show some tender moments.....

although the ist season had the Adrienne and Ellyse
flirting it up
and then the 2nd season had the 'lesbian photoshoot',
let's hope for something this year too

When I got to re-watch top model on Friday, Michelle's scenes didn't get on my nerves as much and as I was doing more listening that watching the first time, I didn't notice Brandy and Noelle in that scene. It was funny cause my mom (who usually doesn't like joking about this stuff at all) was watching with me. So Michelle's laying there having her whole coming out talk and my mom's like 'What are they doing?' and I notice Brandy's like stroking Noelle's hair while Michelle's talking about kissing a girl or whatever, then she sort of lays on Noelle's shoulder and Noelle kind of embraces her head. I know straight girls can be affectionate with each other, but considering the conversation of the moment it just sent out a vibe that both me and my mom caught onto. It was just fun to be entertained by that moment with my mom.

Hmm, maybe it's starting not to bother her as much and I can actually talk to her at some point in the near future.

She obviously used the term 'Bi' when she came out to Noelle, because that's the term Noelle used during there conversation.

Do you think Michelle will come out to the rest of the models or just keep it between herself, Noelle, Brandy, and Tiffany?

I think it would be cool if she told a few more people just to see what their reactions are.

At the end of the scene, it went something like this:
TIFFANY: are you okay?
MICHELLE: yeah (or a nod, or something)
T: You're gay?
M: (laughed and nodded)

So in that last question, I thought Tiffany's "you're gay?" was a play on words--Michelle said she was okay, so Tiffany suggested she was gay as in happy, and that's why Michelle agreed, and laughed at it.

Geez, next week's ep looks kind of gross... poor Michelle. I'm sure it won't be as serious as they lead us to believe in the preview, though. ;)

The new series has just started here in Oz & I actully think this series shows promise. There is a whole group of interesting girls-& more who seem les or bi than in the last group I think. And is it me,but the chick who just came out as bi reminds me of a more gangly kind of Clea DuVall :?

I think this new season is cool. There doesnt really seem to be any fight,
except for ONE irritating Brandy and she's FINALLY gone!! Hooray!!

So if you watch the insider video on UPN, you'll see that all the girls in the house get along well, and are having fun.
And Kahlen is always so hilarious in the videos! I like her so much!! And it seems like every girl in the house likes her too!! Yeah, so cool! :D 8)

Who else do you think might be bi or les in this season? I was thinking Naima might be (or I hope she is! :D), but she hasn't talked about any relationships she's had, straight or gay, so I don't know.
